Jessalynn supported her on the big trip, which comes just days after her split from dancer girlfriend Dakayla Wilson was confirmed.
JoJo touched down in Australia for the 2024 TikTok Awards, which will take place at the Hordern Pavilion on Wednesday night.
She will perform a rare one-off performance that night in her first return to Australia since her Dream tour in January 2020.
“After four long years, it will be amazing to return to Australia – I even got a kangaroo tattoo since my last visit,” JoJo. saying of his return.
“On TikTok I can connect with fans around the world and share my music with them, and now I can do both with my Australian fans in real life at the TikTok Awards.”
TikTok will present 13 awards, including Creator of the Year, Music Artist of the Year and Video of the Year, and new awards in the Food, Beauty and Fashion categories will also debut.
Along with Robert Irwin, Indy Clinton and Kat Clark will take on hosting duties for the evening, which celebrates TikTok’s most iconic and viral moments of the year.

JoJo’s trip to Australia to receive the awards comes just days after she confirmed her split from her girlfriend Dakayla.

“Honestly, I’ve been very open about not wanting to go public,” she shared at the time.
“And then when we got together, it was literally one day when she was teaching a dance class and the girls in the class and the guys in the class were like, looking at us.
“Then one of them said to me, ‘Why are you here, JoJo?’ And finally I went up to her and said, ‘Yeah, why am I here?’
‘And I gave her (Wilson) a look like, ‘Okay, you can say,’ and then they were videotaping that, and then we were like, ‘You know what? It’s public.”
It is unknown how long the couple dated before going public with their romance earlier this year.
