Lola claimed that after she laughed, Depp launched into a tirade, as he berated her while putting “his finger in my face”.

‘(Depp) says his monologue. I hear the signal, and I say haha, I’m laughing a lot or whatever. Johnny Depp, when they say cut, walks up to me, walks up to me, puts his finger in my face and says, “Who the fuck do you think you are? Who do you think you are? ‘es? Shut your mouth.”‘

“I’m here, and I’m trying to say my lines and you concentrate. You fucking idiot,’ she remembers him saying.

“Oh, now, oh now, isn’t that funny?” Now can you shut up? Now can you fucking shut the fuck up? The calm you are in right now is how you stay. “‘

Lola added: “The first day, on set, I never met him. It was my first studio film, until then I had only done independent films.

“And I have the star that I idolized, that I’m so excited to work with, punch me in the face. The only thing going through my mind was, “Don’t cry, don’t cry, don’t cry.” »

Lola went on to state that Johnny later gave her an “apology without apology,” but she acted like nothing had happened.

“(Johnny) said, ‘You know, so earlier I was really in my head and staying in character, doing this Boston accent, and it’s a really fucking thing with me. So I’m a little bit tense and all that. So I just wanted to make sure we were okay and everything?’

Lola replied: “I just looked at him and was like, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about? Of course, what are you talking about? Totally cool.” Because I was like… my dad said, ‘Don’t let them see you sweat.’ So that was it,” she shared.

She also said the director “didn’t come and say anything” when Depp allegedly yelled at him, and “when we finished, I was like an outcast.” No one wanted to talk to me, because I’m the bitch he swore at.

Meanwhile, Depp’s rep disputed the story by pointing the finger at Blow’s sound technician, Samuel Sarkar, who also worked with the actor on films such as Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Chocolat, and co-produced Depp’s film Minamata.

Sarkar told Variety in a statement: “As a sound person, you’re constantly listening to what’s happening on set, you’re listening to the noises, you’re listening to the chatter. In fact, more specifically, I was listening to Johnny’s audio to check for interference, both during rehearsals and during the take. I have never heard anything like it – and it would have been a remarkable event.

Depp won a favorable outcome in the lawsuit, after his legal team successfully argued that Heard’s Washington Post op-ed, in which she accused her ex-husband of domestic violence, was defamatory. He was awarded $10 million in damages.

Heard didn’t publicly name Depp in the article, but given their status and notoriety, it was obvious who she was referring to in regards to his history of alleged abuse.

Although Depp was awarded $10 million in damages, the jury also found in Heard’s favor on one of her three counterclaims.

Ultimately, the former couple reached an agreement on jury awards, and Heard was only forced to pay Depp $1 million in total, which he reportedly donated to five different charities.
