Former Chelsea legend John Terry celebrated his induction into the Premier League Hall of Fame on Tuesday night alongside his partner Toni, 47, and twin daughters Georgie and Summer, 17.

Terry posted a photo of himself with his children on Instagram, who bear an uncanny resemblance to their father, a former professional footballer.

The former Chelsea and England defender was honored at a ceremony at HERE on Outernet in London, alongside former teammate Ashley Cole and former Man United star Andy Cole, with the trio of former Premier League stars added to the honor roll.

Each received medallions with the Premier League logo and their names engraved on them, and Terry, who enjoyed a brilliant 22-year career with the west London club, posted a photo of himself celebrating the award with his family on social networks.

He captioned the image: ‘It’s a very proud moment tonight to be inducted into the @premierleague Hall of Fame which made it even more special to have my family with me. @toniterry26 @georgie26terry @sum26terry’

Terry, who made 717 appearances for Chelsea and scored 67 goals, and his wife Toni welcomed Georgie and Summer into the world in 2006.

He posted the image on the same night that Chelsea suffered the heaviest defeat in their history against Arsenal, with the Blues suffering a 5-0 thrashing at the Emirates.

Fans reacted to the image by congratulating the club legend on his achievement, before urging him to “speak up” amid the Blues’ torrid season.

One wrote: “At least there’s something to be proud of, congratulations John Terry!”

Another added: “You need to speak up, our club is going down,” before one user wrote: “Bro, they just cooked us 5-0 against Arsenal…”

The 43-year-old, who currently works in Chelsea’s academy, was set to marry Toni at Blenheim Palace in June 2007, in a lavish ceremony said to have cost almost £1million.

He also shared two controversial videos showing the twins behind the wheel of a moving car on the road when they were still children.

He also enjoyed a luxurious trip to Dubai in December with Toni, posting several photos of the couple on his Instagram, while writing: “So lucky to get away for a few days of golf and relaxation with @toniterry26.”

Terry is the most successful captain in Chelsea’s history, having won five Premier League titles and one Champions League.

He holds the record for most clean sheets in the league with 214, and is the division’s highest scoring defender with 41 to his name.
