Just a few days after announcing that he will participate in the Outlaw Music Festival 2024, John Mellencamp He spent part of Friday with his girlfriend Kristin Kehrberg.
The couple, who have been a couple for about a year, indulged in some retail therapy at Courrèges on Grand Street in the Soho neighborhood in midtown Manhattan.
Seemingly on a mission to find the perfect piece of clothing, the billionaire socialite, 57, was seen showing the acclaimed rocker, 72, some pieces that were on the rack.
That day, the Hurts So Good singer-songwriter stepped out wearing black pants with a matching jacket over a black button-down shirt, a white T-shirt, and sneakers.
His almost entirely gray hair was styled in a pseudo-pompadour away from his face, as it has been for many years, and over his ears.

At one point, while his lady was still at the boutique, Mellencamp went outside to smoke a cigarette in the blazing sun, on a day when temperatures hovered around 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
Finally, the Jack & Dianne star came back inside to see Kehrberg, who proceeded to show her a couple of items that were on the sales rack.
The pair appeared to engage in conversation about at least one of the items and then left the store a few moments later with Kehrberg holding a brown shopping bag.
The socialite is the widow of Shelter Island advertising guru Richard ‘Dick’ Tarlow, who died in May 2022 at the age of 81, according to Page six.
She began dating Mellencamp in early 2023, but they were not seen together publicly until late that summer, in August.
The couple was photographed snuggling close to each other outside Mellencamp’s granddaughter’s Slate fashion show in Los Angeles.
The Pink Houses star previously dated actress Meg Ryan. In reality, the romance began in 2011 and lasted three years until they separated in 2014, according to Us weekly.
But Mellencamp and Ryan would rekindle their relationship two years later and finally announce their engagement in 2018, only to call it off the following year.

The couple appeared to be having fun together while out shopping.
Once back outside, Mellencamp lit another cigarette to walk to the next store.
The Jack & Dianne star began her career in the early 1970s and by the 1980s had already achieved massive success with a string of hit songs spanning a decade.
Earlier in the week it was announced that Mellencamp would be joining the Outlaw Music Festival headlined by Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan.
When the tour begins on June 21, former Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant will be part of the roadshow with Nelson, Dylan, Alison Krauss and Celisse.
The Seymmour, Indiana native won’t join the show until July 29 and will remain through the tour’s end on September 17.
Brittney Spencer, Billy Strings and Southern Avenue will also play some of the shows, replacing Plant, Krauss and Celisse at the end of July.

Kehrberg and Mellencamp began dating in early 2023

The singer-songwriter began his illustrious career in music in the early 1970s performing under the stage name Johnny Cougar.
He would play the name game and call himself John Cougar on his self-titled third album.
Their breakthrough came with the release of their fifth studio album, American Fool (1982), which contained the three hit singles Hurts So Good, Jack & Dianne and Hand to Hold On To.
Their seventh album, Uh-Huh (1983) would become an even bigger success supported by singles like Pink Houses, Authority Song and Crumblin’ Down.
In total, Mellencamp has released 25 albums throughout his career and has racked up 22 hit songs in the US including Lonely Ol’ Night, I Need A Lover, Small Town, Rain On The Scarecrow, ROCK in the USA , Human Wheels, Paper In Fire. , Cherry Bomb, Jackei Brown and Love And Happiness, among others.
He was eventually inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008, followed by an induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2018.
