John Daly slammed the PGA after giving up on 13 holes in the first round of the Senior PGA Championship on Thursday.
The colorful cult hero posted a striking image of his swollen legs after he was unable to complete the course, citing the tee boxes “going down”.
“It’s so hard to play tees that are substandard,” Daly tweeted. ‘The golf course is awesome but I wish they would upgrade their tee shirts!

Mail Sport has yet to receive comment from the PGA TOUR champions in response to Daly’s criticism.
This follows Dally’s withdrawal from the PGA Championship earlier this month, due to an unspecified injury.
The 1991 PGA Championship winner has experience with the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act 1990).
In 2018, Daly was denied a cart, despite lawyers saying otherwise, at the US Seniors Open and consequently said he would not play in the USGA again.

For the past few years, Daly has needed a buggy to get around the course due to arthritis.
Daly said in 2020 that he had been diagnosed with bladder cancer which he said in March last year had become benign.
The 57-year-old is a lifelong heavy smoker and proud Diet Coke consumer – once claiming he could drink 20 cans a day.
And a reporter once claimed he followed Daly to the 2008 Windham Championship and counted him smoking 21 cigarettes, about 12 cans of diet coke and six bags of peanut M&Ms.
