‘Even if they can see you, they can’t guard you’: John Cena pays tribute to Caitlin Clark after the Iowa superstar hit his trademark “You Can’t See Me” during a March Madness triple-play.
John Cena paid tribute to Iowa State women’s basketball star Caitlin Clark after she used the “you can’t see me” gesture during a standout performance in the Hawkeyes’ Elite Eight victory at March Madness.
Putting in the shooting clinic, Clark finished his career with 41 points, 12 assists, 10 rebounds while shooting and 8/14 from three.
After Ball Six, she pulled the famous WWE showdown towards Louisville, which was widely shared across social media.
Cena, who has made the move famous throughout his career as a full-time wrestler, noticed Clark copying his trademark gesture and gave it a shout-out on Twitter on Tuesday.
“Even if they can see you… they can’t guard you! Congratulations to historic performers @CaitlinClark22 and IowaWBB on advancing to the Final Four!”, Cena wrote.

Clark has 11 career triple-double and 19 in NCAA Tournament history.
The Iowa star had the first triple-double of 30 and 40 points in March Madness history.
Clark had 22 points and eight assists in the first 20 minutes on his way to the fourth-highest all-time NCAA Regional scoring total.
Second seed Iowa upset fifth seed Louisville 97-83 on Sunday and will play in their first Final Four for 30 years.
Awaiting the Hawkeyes is top seed South Carolina. The teams face off at 9 p.m. EST Friday night in Dallas at the American Airlines Center.
Cena will be in action the next night at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles, where he will face Austin Theory.
