And six-year-old mother, Joelle Skinner, found a clever way to transform an old dresser into a modern creation using a $ 10 shower curtain she bought at Kmart.

"I've had this idea for a while, but I only had it last week to pass the time," he told Daily Mail Australia.
"Since I saw the lovely mid-century print on the shower curtains at Kmart, I wanted to use them in our house, but I did not know how.
& # 39; And then, when it finally hit me, it took a bit of courage to do it because it's a pretty daring and busy employer. Fortunately, it's easily reversible, so it's not like you're committed for life.
& # 39; In person, it feels good to pass your hand. I did not deliberately try to align the pattern between each door / drawer to keep the feeling almost painted by hand. In general, it fits very well with all of our house & # 39;
The intelligent mother shared her tricks to renovate her old dresser using a bathroom curtain.
He explained that the method he used to redecorate his sideboard is "decoupage".
"First I unbolted the cupboard doors and removed the handles. Then I used mod podge [ a water based glue] "To paste the curtains, smoothing as I went," he said.
& # 39; And then a final layer on top to seal it. And once they dried, all I had to do was cut the edges and then reassemble everything.
It was exciting once I replaced the last door and I was able to step back and finally see what it looked like. It took me a couple of days to get used to the busy pattern, which is far from the flat white I was before, but I'm very happy with that now. "
After tragically losing her young daughter, the bereaved mother said she found comfort in giving her home a modern makeover.
The mother said she had to dismantle the closet doors to redecorate them.

"Actually I use my creative outlet to give me some breathing space from my debilitating pain," he explained.
"My mind is constantly contributing ideas and solving things before I finally take the step and go for it."
Taking her Facebook group, she shared her impressive creation.
"This is what happens when you spend hours waiting for school uniforms to be washed and dried every night," he said.
"Right next to the living room is this dresser that we use to store our board games. Between my Netflix binges, I looked up and my mind started to go into hacking mode.
"So the old vintage dresser, meets the shower curtain, and we have a cool mid-century look."
