Joe Rogan has revealed that Kamala Harris agreed to appear on his podcast, but rejected the conditions suggested by his team.
Rogan, who recently had a three-hour meeting with Republican candidate Donald Trump, says the Harris campaign offered to interview the vice president on Tuesday, but would require him to “travel to her” and “I only wanted to do an hour.”
“I firmly believe that the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin,” he revealed Monday night on
Liberals urged Harris to sit down with Rogan after it emerged that Trump’s interview with the podcaster racked up a staggering 17 million views on YouTube in less than 24 hours.
By comparison, Harris’ appearance on the Call her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper has logged just 685,000 views in the two weeks since it was posted.

Rogan says the Harris campaign offered to interview the vice president (pictured at a rally in Michigan on Thursday) on Tuesday, but it would require him to “travel to her” and he “only wanted to do it for an hour.”
Trump’s three-hour meeting with Rogan covered a wide range of topics, including UFOs, the John F. Kennedy assassination files, the border and healthy eating in America.
As soon as the episode was released shortly after 10 pm ET on Friday night, viewing numbers skyrocketed with 300,000 in the first 30 minutes.
Trump had taken a break from the campaign to travel to Rogan’s studio for the interview, causing him to be late to his own rally in Traverse City, Michigan.
He and Rogan even discussed the possibility of Harris appearing on the show during their interview.
‘She was supposed to do it and she still could do it. I hope so,” Rogan told the former president.
“I hope he does because it would be a disaster.” She would be lying on the floor in a coma. She would say, ‘Call the doctors,'” Trump said of his rival.
Rogan went on X on Monday night to reveal why Harris didn’t appear on his show.

“I imagine her doing this show. She was supposed to do it. And it may still do so. And I hope he does. I will speak to you like a human being. I would try to have a conversation with her,” Rogan told Trump.
“I think we would have a good conversation. I think I could talk to her. I wouldn’t try to interview her. I would just try to have a conversation with her and hopefully get to know her as a human being.
‘That was my goal. Keep it on, try to express it…’
Harris was also due to be interviewed by Rogan but had to withdraw due to scheduling conflicts, a spokesperson previously said.
However, since details of Trump’s qualifications emerged, many liberals are urging her to sit down with the popular podcast host, with some even alleging that Trump is “uplifting” after his appearance on the show.
Both candidates have used podcast appearances as part of a strategy to use non-traditional media to reach more voters. But Democrats fear that Trump has done so much more successfully than his opponent.

The Joe Rogan Experience is Spotify’s most popular podcast, with over 14 million subscribers. Rogan also has nearly 18 million followers on YouTube and his videos routinely receive millions of views.
By appearing on Rogan’s podcast, Trump was able to appeal directly to his 81 percent male listeners, the majority of whom are under 35 years old.
Harris has been struggling to court this demographic, according to a recent poll.
A USA TODAY/Suffolk University poll put Trump in the lead among men 53 percent to 37 percent, while Harris’ lead among women is 53 percent to 36 percent.
