Joe Rogan hit back at critics' 'crying wolf' for accusing Elon Musk of using Nazi salute during Monday's inauguration celebration

Joe Rogan has issued a blistering response to liberals’ “crying wolf” after he accused Elon Musk of giving the Nazi salute during the president’s inaugural parade on Monday.

The popular podcaster called out people for playing a “bullsh** game” by accusing “everyone” of being a Nazi, after sections of the media accused Tesla’s CEO of using the disgusting gesture.

While standing on stage at one of the inauguration events honoring Donald Trump as the 47th president, Musk crossed his right hand over his heart, his fingers spread wide, and extended his right arm at an upward angle.

He then turned and repeated the gesture.

He quickly came under fire for the now-viral moment, with many speculating that he had made an overt gesture to Adolf Hitler and the Nazis.

During a Wednesday episode of his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan, 57, said those who pretend “everyone is Hitler” are “heartbroken” when he stood up for the billionaire, who has appeared on the show five times.

‘This is why they want to merge everything and always pretend that everyone is Hitler. The problem with that is after a while it cries wolf and people say, ‘Oh, this is some bullshit game you’re playing and you’re just using it as an excuse,'” Rogan said.

“Elon has talked about this a lot. “He’s absolutely right when he says that people use woke ideology as an excuse to be an asshole, and they’re really just assholes who get attached to things that make them feel righteous,” he continued.

“So they wrap themselves in this idea to give them virtue and allow them to say the most horrible things about other people who have different perspectives.”

He added that the “horrendous baseless personal attacks” are only making people “less and less effective.”

‘Intelligent and conscious people who have their emotions under control recognize this. They won’t take your perspective seriously, so you’ll be less and less effective at what you do.”

Musk also hit back at those who claimed he made that gesture, accusing his critics of needing “better dirty tricks.”

The X founder also said that “the ‘everyone is Hitler’ attack is so tired.”

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), an organization founded to combat anti-Semitism and which has criticized Musk in the past, also rushed to his defense, saying it appears he “made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, and not a Nazi salute’. ‘.

The ADL also noted that Trump’s inauguration was a “delicate moment” and that “politics is inflamed,” but urged “all parties” to give each other “a little mercy” and “maybe even the benefit of the doubt ‘ to offer.

Musk’s gesture comes after he made several statements in recent weeks in support of Germany’s far-right party AFD.

‘This was no ordinary victory. This was a fork in the road of human civilization,” he said as he gave the “salute.”

“This one really mattered. Thanks for making this happen! Thank you.’

Historian Aaron Astor also dismissed accusations of Musk’s Nazi emulation.

“I have often criticized Elon Musk for allowing neo-Nazis to pollute this platform,” he wrote on X, adding, “But this gesture is not a Nazi salute.”

“This is a socially awkward autistic man waving to the crowd and saying, ‘My heart goes out to you.’

Musk announced in 2021 that he had been diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, a form of autism.

Even Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu weighed in on Thursday in an X-post that Musk is being ‘falsely smeared’.

“Elon is a good friend of Israel,” Netanyahu added of the South African native. “He visited Israel after the October 7 massacre, in which Hamas terrorists committed the worst atrocity against the Jewish people since the Holocaust.”

“Since then, he has repeatedly and strongly supported Israel’s right to defend itself against genocidal terrorists and regimes seeking to destroy the one and only Jewish state,” the prime minister concluded.

Despite his response and others defending him, many are still convinced his hand gesture is linked to the Nazis.

Claire Aubin, a historian who specializes in Nazism in the United States, claimed that Musk’s gesture was a “sieg heil,” or Nazi salute.

“Meteorologist Sam Kuffel is no longer with CBS 58,” reads a memo from news director Jessie Garcia, obtained by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “A replacement is being sought.” DailyMail.com has contacted CBS for comment.

Kuffel shared footage of the movement in an Instagram story Tuesday on her personal account, which is now private. It is unclear whether it was public at the time.

“Dude Nazi saluted twice. TWICE. During the inauguration, Kuffel captioned the video. ‘You f*** with this and this man, I don’t f*** with you. Period,” she added.

The weather forecaster also shared a fiery meme of a character from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, saying: ‘Fuck that old b****. He’s a Nazi.’

Kuffel had worked as a meteorologist at the CBS station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for just over five years, according to her LinkedIn account.

Previously, she held the same role at ABC affiliate WAOW in Wasau, Wisconsin, for three years and six months, according to the page.
