Joe Rogan has claimed that liberal media is bleeding readers because Americans no longer trust them.

Rogan, 57, had spoken about a recent op-ed by Amazon founder and Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos.

Bezos had published the op-ed in late October, titled “The Hard Truth: Americans Don’t Trust the News Media.”

In it, Bezos said: “It would be easy to blame others for our long and ongoing decline in credibility.

‘Complaining is not a strategy. We need to work harder to control what we can control to increase our credibility.”

The comedian and UFC commentator said Bezos’ observations appear to be playing out across the media landscape.

He said, “I just read something about CNN and MSNBC’s ratings after the election. All these left wing idiots on YouTube have a lot of subscribers.

“Where people go, ‘You’re out of touch, you’re inaccurate, you’re delusional.’

“People talk about their subscriptions and their purchase of the Washington Post and their purchase of the New York Times.”

He then mentioned a recent fact-check piece from The Times about claims made by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. about the artificial ingredients in Froot Loops.

He said: “The New York Times just debunked, in the craziest way possible, RFK Jr’s claim that the ingredients in Froot Loops are different in Canada than in the United States.

“They checked the facts and said he was right. The fact check is so stupid because the fact check says it is wrong. They contain the same ingredients, except these harmful chemicals.”

One of his guests said, “My brain hurt just reading it,” to which Rogan replied, “That’s the New York f****** Times.”

He added, “This is what the New York Times does, so of course you’re going to hemorrhage subscribers.

‘You are crazy, you say something that is crazy and besides: what is your motivation?

“If we say these things have been eliminated in other countries because they have been proven to be dangerous, what is your motivation for saying he was wrong?”

One of his guests wondered if the motivation was money, to which Rogan replied, “What else could it be?”

He added that it could have to do with political ideology, saying: “Left rejection of RFK Jr. because ‘he is now connected to Trump, who is connected to the Nazis.

Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski revealed they visited President-elect Donald Trump at Mar-A-Lago this weekend, sparking outrage and a ratings drop

“It’s like you go down a fucking weird rabbit hole with these people, and you’re like, what are you trying to do? Are you trying to take away any remaining credibility?

“Are you trying to eliminate, because you’ve lost so much credibility, are you trying to kill it all? Are you secretly working for the Chinese? What are you doing?’

His comments come after a difficult week for MSNBC after Morning Joe hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough revealed they had met with Donald Trump.

On Monday, Brzezinski and her husband and co-host Scarborough said on their show that they had visited Trump at his Florida home after a years-long feud.

Things came to a boil earlier this year after Scarborough compared Trump to Adolf Hitler, with their visit sparking anger among their liberal viewers and show staff.

The hosts are on the receiving end of a huge backlash from conservative and liberal figures over the decision to meet with the president-elect.

After the big reveal on Monday, their ratings fell by 15 percent overall and by a whopping 41 percent among 25-54 year olds.

The show went from 770,000 viewers on Monday to 680,000 Tuesday to 647,000 Wednesday per Variety.
