Joe Rogan Clarifies His Alien Abduction Theory to Matt Rife: ‘It Seems Real, Because It’s Real’

  • The podcaster, 56, discussed it with Matt Rife, 28, on The Joe Rogan Experience
  • He claims that alien abductions happen at night, when people are asleep.
  • The comedian believes psychedelic chemicals also play a role in the experience.

Podcaster Joe Rogan once again discusses extraterrestrial life and clarified his theory about alien abductions during an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience.

The 56-year-old speculated with comedian Matt Rife, 28, on the September 12 episode.

Rogan said: “It always happens at night, and it always happens during times when people are sleeping.

“Most of the stories I’ve heard are about people in their bed – they can’t move… or they’re in a car, the car stops, they wake up – aliens have abducted them.”

Rogan also believes that “psychedelic chemicals” in our brains play a role. His claims came on the same day that UFO investigators made a bizarre presentation of two “alien” bodies to a stunned Mexican convention.

Rogan says: “When you fall asleep and dream, your brain produces psychedelic chemicals. »

He explained: “We don’t know how much they make, we don’t know what effect it has on your dreams, we don’t know what’s going on.”

Psychedelics are substances that produce changes in perception, mood, and cognitive processes.

They can affect the senses, alter thinking, and cause a person to hallucinate, or see or hear things that are not there or that are distorted.

“You lie in bed and you have an incredibly vivid and terrifying interaction with aliens every night — because your brain is just injecting you with psychedelics,” Rogan said.

He added: “Perhaps psychedelics are a gateway to another reality – another dimension accessible to these creatures.”

Rife described the explanation as “constant paranoia” and admitted to liking the theory of psychedelics as a gateway to another reality or dimension.

Matt Rife understood Joe Rogan's theory throughout the episode and came to an agreement near the end of Joe's explanation.

“It feels real, because it’s real,” says Rogan

“It feels real, because it’s real,” Rogan continued.

“And it could be that there is a chemical gateway in your mind that, when crossed, takes you into a dimension where physical bodies no longer exist and everything moves in this constant soup of geometric patterns.”

Rife added, “I guess that’s probably what happens to death,” to which Rogan agreed.

“A lot of old depictions of what happens when you enter a psychedelic state…that you interact with souls who are completely detached from a physical presence,” Rogan responded.

The souls Rogan refers to come from the Well of Souls – derived from a medieval Islamic legend that the spirits of the dead can be heard while awaiting judgment day.

The podcaster laughed: “Maybe you get layers and layers of it depending on how shitty you are where you sleep.”

“Maybe some of these layers are ‘boom’ – aliens in the room with you.”
