Joe Rogan has used his new Netflix stand-up show to savagely satirise Prince Harry, calling him a “bitch” and joking about the royal taking magic mushrooms.
The podcast star, 57, also imitated the Duke of Sussex’s British accent as he accused the California-based Windsor of “talking shit about me” – a reference to the Sussexes’ public concerns about “Covid misinformation” on the vaccine sceptic’s Spotify show.
Harry and Meghan revealed they reached out to the music streaming giant to “express our concerns” in 2022 but did not part ways with the company, which later refused to renew Meghan’s Archetypes podcast and the couple’s $20 million exclusive deal.
In Rogan’s new live stand-up show, Burn the Boats, released on Netflix this month, Joe mercilessly attacked Harry.
She said: ‘I’ve been cancelled so many times during the pandemic that I’d sometimes find out by accident. This is a true story. One time, I woke up in my underwear, flopped down, turned on the TV and Prince Harry was talking shit about me. I felt like I’d just woken up. I felt vulnerable. I was in my underwear and there was a prince on TV talking about me.’
Mocking Harry’s accent, he said, to laughter from the crowd: “It’s like Joe Rogan is spreading dangerous misinformation about vaccines.” And my first thought was: “What the hell did I do?”
Joe Rogan has used his new Netflix comedy show to fiercely mock Prince Harry, calling him a “dog” and joking about the royals’ consumption of magic mushrooms. Joe also criticised Harry and his wife after they criticised his podcast during the pandemic.
He also teased Harry by imagining what it would be like to take drugs with him, and then fantasized about beating him up for their fight over vaccines while they were high on hallucinogens.
Mr Rogan, who was born in New Jersey, said he would get Harry drunk and then encourage him to take drugs with him.
“Can you imagine eating mushrooms with Prince Harry? Imagine if you could trick that guy into eating mushrooms with you,” she said.
‘The moment you see him chew it and swallow it. There’s a moment when you eat mushrooms, like 20 minutes after swallowing it, when you know you can’t throw it up anymore.
“And you’re like, ‘Oh no, it’s going to happen,’ and you’re sitting face to face with the prince. And here’s the thing. The mushrooms take about 40 minutes to kick in, but after about 35 minutes you hear them coming. You hear footsteps in the distance. Meanwhile, Prince Harry is freaking out.”
To more laughter from the audience, she said: ‘I’m going to stand over him and say, “Are you sure vaccines are safe?” Bitch, you’re not a scientist.’
Rogan’s drug dream comes as the Duke of Sussex remains at the centre of a legal case over the issue.
Donald Trump has previously suggested that Harry, who has lived in the US since 2020, would not get “special privileges” and could in fact be deported if he is found to have falsified information on his visa form.
In the Prince’s memoirs, Spare revealed that he had previously used drugs including cocaine, cannabis and psychedelic mushrooms, which under US law would normally be grounds for a visa application being refused.
Harry and Meghan will land in Colombia this week for a controversial visit.
The Sussexes are travelling to a country widely regarded as more dangerous than Britain, but Harry says it is not safe to bring his wife and children to the UK amid his row with the Home Office over police protection.
Meghan Markle wants Prince Harry to “put aside” the legal battle over the safety of her family as she wants the Duke to be “free”, sources have said.
Harry is continuing to appeal against a UK High Court ruling over his safety, having lost several rounds of the case against the Home Office.
A close friend of Harry said the duke’s calls to his father on these issues “go unanswered,” according to a report by People magazine.
Meghan hopes the Duke can “put these demands aside” and “live in the moment,” sources told the American magazine.
The report quoted a former employee of the Sussexes’ Archewell Foundation as saying: ‘(Meghan) wants him to be free of all this, but she also knows that because of everything he’s been through and his love for (her and their children), he can’t do that.
A close friend of Harry’s said the duke’s calls to King Charles on these issues are being “answered,” according to a report by People magazine.
Harry previously told an ITV interviewer that he “will not be bringing my wife back to this country” because of “genuine concerns” about security.
“She wants him to live in a world where he doesn’t have to bear this burden.”
Harry previously told an ITV interviewer that he “will not be bringing my wife back to this country” because of “genuine concerns” about security.
Earlier this year, a High Court judge ruled that Harry had “completely lost” an attempt to appeal against a Home Office decision on his safety in the UK.
She had been awaiting a judicial review into a decision by the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC) to remove her right to automatic police protection after she decided to leave the working royal family.
Harry still receives protection when returning to Britain in certain circumstances, but must give 28 days’ notice of his plans.
Harry reportedly believes his father should intervene on the security issue to ensure his youngest son and his family are safe when in the UK.
Communication between Harry and Charles, sources told People magazine, has gone from frustration to “complete silence.”

“She’s not asking her father for a nicer house or better cars. She’s asking because the situation is real. She’s in danger,” said a source.
The legal battle has raised fears that Charles may never be reunited with his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, as Harry refuses to bring his family to the UK.
Royal experts told The Mail on Sunday that the King will become “increasingly distant” from the children in an “incredibly sad situation”.
King Charles last saw Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three, in June 2022 when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
