EXCLUSIVE: Joe Fournier speaks out after KSI’s decision – and thanks the Daily Mail for leading the way in securing a ‘no decision’ result… with both fighters maintaining their unbeaten records for now
Joe Fournier has thanked the Daily Mail for leading the way in changing the result of his recent fight against KSI.
The YouTuber beat Fournier in the second round at Wembley on Saturday, but the incident sparked controversy after replays showed KSI’s knockout blow came from a forearm.
Now, a post-match investigation by the Professional Boxing Association (PBA) has overturned the result, creating a “no decision” verdict. KSI was not disqualified as the use of the elbow was ruled accidental.
Now Fournier has told Mail Sport their work to raise the incident at the time helped create Friday’s ‘no decision’ decision.
Fournier said, “Hello from London. Well, we have news. I am still undefeated. Still, no one can knock me out, and we’re back, baby.

Post-fight analysis concluded KSI accidentally used his forearm in Saturday’s fight
“The PBA has decided that this is officially a no contest. It was an illegal nudge, and I’m still undefeated, and I still look fresh.
“I want to thank the Daily Mail because they were the first to publish it.

Both fighters maintain their unbeaten streaks following Friday’s post-fight decision
“And that side of the public outcry. I had millions of people on my Instagram from supporters and people who see it. Many big-name athletes and celebrities say they couldn’t believe the referee hadn’t seen it, but the PBA made up for it.
“But the PBA made up for that, as did DAZN, Misfits and Wasserman to make sure it was a fair shout out to the athletes who are sacrificing a lot to be on these cards.
“Now, you know, if there’s any doubt, they rectify it. Respect, and you know where we are now: the rematch!’
Both fighters now remain undefeated following Friday’s decision – although it looks like both could be willing to risk that status by getting back in place to settle things fairly this time.
