Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was the victim of a burglary while in Dallas

While playing against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow’s home was burglarized.

Hamilton County (Ohio) sheriffs confirmed reports of a burglary at Burrow’s $7.5 million home in suburban Anderson Township to WLWT Cincinnati.

According to reports, there was a shattered window in the bedroom, which was ransacked by intruders.

A 9-1-1 call from a concerned woman said their daughter was staying there.

‘Someone is currently trying to break into the house. My daughter is here. This is Joe Burrow’s house. She’s staying there. He’s at the football game. She wonders what to do, whether to hide or go outside. She said someone was in the house,” the caller said.

Then the daughter herself called 9-1-1 and said, “Someone broke into my house. It’s like it’s all messed up.’

A man, who a dispatcher confirmed worked in home security, could also be overheard talking to the daughter on the phone.

WLWT reports that Monday radio traffic indicated an officer was on duty at his home that evening – and confirmed the broken windows.

Earlier this year, the NFL issued a security alert to teams and the NFL players’ union after recent burglaries at the homes of Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

The memo, obtained by the Associated Press, said the homes of athletes in many sports “have increasingly become targets for burglaries by organized and expert groups.”

The identity of the woman in the home is not clear. Burrow is in a relationship with Olivia Holzmacher, whom he met while attending Ohio State. They stayed together after Burrow transferred to LSU, where he finished his college football career.

Burrow purchased the mansion – which spans three acres and overlooks the Ohio River – in late 2023.

According to the listing (via the New York Post), the home spans 7,300 square feet and features four bedrooms and six bathrooms.

While he was away, Burrow led the Bengals to a 27-20 win over the Dallas Cowboys.

Burrow completed 33 of 44 passes for 369 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in the game.

That included a game-winning drive after the Cowboys muffed a punt — with Burrow connecting with top target Ja’Marr Chase.

Cincinnati is now 5-8 on the season and currently on the brink of playoff elimination. They next play on the road with the Tennessee Titans.
