Joe Biden muttered during a public update on the response to Hurricane Milton as he awkwardly ended the briefing with an attack on his predecessor and a joke about the war between Israel and Hamas.
The president told Donald Trump to “get a life” as he spent the brief briefing criticizing the former president and his allies for spreading disinformation about the federal government’s response to the concurrent storms.
“It’s strange,” Biden said of online claims that FEMA is only giving $750 in aid and will try to seize Americans’ land if they ask the government for help.
As the president wrapped up the briefing, he was asked if he had spoken to Trump.
