President Joe Biden once again criticized Trump’s supporters, calling them “the kind of people you want to slap on the butt.”
Biden, 81, gritted his teeth as he delivered that comment at a Kamala Harris campaign event in Pennsylvania on Saturday, days after sparking outrage by also calling Trump supporters “trash.”
In his latest rebuke, Biden said Trump supporters were “macho guys” who “want another tax cut for the rich,” before ranting “when I was in Scranton we used to have some trouble understanding the plot.”
The line drew scattered laughter before Biden continued: “I’m serious, these are the kind of guys you want to slap on the ass… by the way, I’m serious.”
President Joe Biden once again criticized Trump supporters at a Kamala Harris campaign event in Pennsylvania on Saturday, calling them “the kind of guys you want to slap on the ass.”
Biden’s comment comes just days after he called Trump supporters “trash,” amid reports that Harris’ campaign has sought to marginalize the president and distance itself from him.
The repeated gaffes have some online even theorizing that Biden is trying to “sabotage” Harris’ candidacy because of the way he was allegedly forced out of the race in the summer.
After her ‘ass-beating’ comment, critics criticized her performance, with one saying on X that she was ‘turning white knuckles’ with every appearance.
‘Does anyone know who runs this pathetic guy’s presidency?’ questioned another.
Another pointed out the president’s repeated gaffes, saying: “Biden calls me trash one day and then wants to slap me on the butt.”
Donald Trump took advantage of Biden’s “trash” gaffe by campaigning in Wisconsin in a garbage truck amid outrage over the president’s comment.
It comes days after Biden upstaged Harris’ big “closing argument” campaign event in DC by calling Trump supporters “trash” in a surprising outburst.
The 81-year-old commander in chief’s explosive gaffe evoked memories of Hillary Clinton’s infamous dismissal of Trump voters as “deplorables” in 2016, which contributed to her stunning defeat.
The president weighed in after a comedian at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday compared Puerto Rico to a “floating island of garbage.”
Biden said: “The only trash I see floating around is his (Trump) supporters.”
Trump’s campaign wasted no time in capitalizing on the gaffe, with the former president riding a MAGA garbage truck at an appearance in Wisconsin the next day.
‘What do you think of my garbage truck? “This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden,” he told waiting media while wearing an orange work vest.
