Jodie Foster and son Kit, 19, run errands in NYC during rare public sighting
She received a very distinctive award at the Cannes Film Festival in the south of France earlier this summer.
And Jodie Foster was seen under much more casual circumstances on Wednesday, when she was spotted with for youngest son Kit Bernard Foster, 19, in New York City’s West Village neighborhood.
The double Oscar winner, 58, peered under her sunglasses as she walked by, dressed in a loose-fitting blue dress and black sandals.

Jodie’s sundress had white buttons down the front and fine pleats at the waist.
She rolled the sleeves of her dress up to her elbows.
The accused star also wore a black backpack.
She wore her dirty blond hair parted to the side and behind her ears for the rare sighting.

Her son Kit, 19, wore a white T-shirt with a howling gray wolf on it, along with gray shorts.
He wore black glasses and at one point pulled a blue mask under his chin.
Kit was also found to be holding the envelope for a ballot paper.
The pair were spotted with another woman on their way to the post office, most likely Jodie’s ex-partner and the boy’s other parent, Cydney Bernard.

Jodie and film producer Cydney, 68, are also parents to two older son Charles, 23.
The two women were in a relationship from 1993, when they met on the set of the movie Sommersby, until 2008.
Foster has since moved on, marrying actress and photographer Alexandra Hedison in April 2014.
