Jodie Comer kept her outfit under wraps before appearing on Wednesday’s episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in New York City.
The Killing Ever star, 30, wore an oversized black robe that she kept closed with one hand as she made her way into the studio.
But as she strolled down the sidewalk in her narrow heels, the bottom of what appeared to be a strapless black dress came out.
Her shoulder-length blonde hair looked voluminous and her makeup was kept light and natural.
The longtime Olivier winner relied on celebrity New York designer Elizabeth Saltzman to style her looks.

She seemed to be in a cheerful mood as she waved to the fans with a huge smile on her face.
Kummer was escorted to the studio door by a team of security guards.
The official The Late Show Instagram page posted a photo coming to their story to promote her appearance.
The Free Guy star came on top of winning Best Actress at the 2023 Olivier Awards held at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 2 April.
This is her first ever Olivier Award and she was awarded the honor for the role In a one woman play Prima Vase.
Comer will soon make her Broadway debut as the play is set to run for 10 weeks at the John Golden Theater starting April 11th.
The play continues “a brilliant young lawyer who loves to win” and “has made her way from working-class origins to be on top of her game.
‘but An unexpected event forces her to confront the lines along which the patriarchal authority of law, the burden of proof, and morality diverge’.
But as she strolled down the sidewalk in her strappy heels, the bottom of what appeared to be a strapless black dress came to the fore.

During her acceptance speech, Comer gushed about how “it changed my life” and thanked playwright Susie Miller for “writing the most luxurious play I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading.”
Then she spoke directly to the aspiring actors, encouraging them not to give up on their dreams.
“One thing I would say to any kid who hasn’t been to drama school, who can’t afford to go to drama school, who has been rejected from drama school, don’t let anyone tell you that isn’t possible.
“You may need the stars to match and meet people who are generous, kind and patient, but it is possible,” she said.
Comer ended her speech by sending love to her mom and dad and wishing her grandfather a happy 82nd birthday.
Prima Facie – which is 100 minutes long – premiered At the Harold Pinter Theater in London’s West End in April 2022.
The series finale will take place on June 18, 2022.
Kummer was met with critical acclaim, which she said was “incredible” and something she “couldn’t have dreamed of” in an interview with PNA ahead of Sunday’s ceremony.
