The duties are virtually identical to those of a live nanny, but the mining company Ausgold announced the position as a personal assistant, using the Seek online job search agency.

Ausgold is owned by Chinese businesswoman Sally Zou, and the position would be based in Adelaide. It is understood that Ms. Zou has two daughters.

The announcement requires that the appropriate candidate: "live and stay with the girl 7 days a week during private semesters of primary school".

The ad has been deleted, but also says: "personal assistant with a good heart, well spoken, responsible, affectionate and fun-loving, required for an energetic, sweet and nine-year-old Adelaide girl".

"A lot of the time you will be the only one responsible for the child since the mother travels frequently."

A comparative advertisement for a "live nanny" in Sydney requires the candidate to be "kind, courteous, honest and able to work without supervision".

"You will accompany us on our holidays abroad as needed." This is a full-time position and we live in a beautiful house in the harbor, "says Seek's announcement.

The ad is supposed to have been placed to take care of Ms. Zou's youngest daughter who previously lived in China.

Previously residing in Pymble, New South Wales, the family moved to Adelaide so that Gloria Zou, now 11 years old, could attend St Peter's Girls School, an Anglican and international high school in Stonyfell.

Ms. Zou marked her daughter's first day at school with a one-page newspaper ad.

The eighth birthday of the girl in a superyacht in Pittwater, Sydney, had a list of famous guests and a public relations campaign.

Before the family moved to Adelaide, Sally Zou took out an ad in The Advertiser in October 2017 looking to buy a house near the city she could call home.

Upon moving to Adelaide, Ms. Zou established two new businesses based in South Australia: AusDiamond Mining and AusFood Alliance, which includes the Australian Romance Wine brand.

One focuses on diamond mining, while the other focuses on food and wine exports to the world.

Ms. Zou also sponsored the Port Adelaide Power AFL team and established a grant for the mining engineering study at the University of Adelaide.
