Jiri Prochazka plans to show he’s the ‘rightful champion’ when he returns

Jiri prochazka has resigned the UFC Light Heavyweight title due to a shoulder injury which forced him from the UFC 282 main show against Glover Teixeira.

The title was vacated by the former champion and No. Jan Blachowicz (No. 2) is the 2nd ranked contender. Magomed Ankalaev, ranked #3, will be competing for the title in the UFC 282 headliner at T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas on December 10.

Prochazka acknowledges that he’s no longer the 205-pound champion, but vowed to win back the title upon his return. In a series tweets, the former titleholder discussed his injury and his expectations.

“There are no obstacles, just an opportunity to see the same path from a different angle and be Stronger and more human. Once you accept the path of the Warrior or simply be absolutely honest to yourself, then you know deep inside what is false and what is true, where your Path is,” Prochazka wrote.

“Title? “Title”: I was the UFC Champion five months ago. The current situation doesn’t change the fact that I feel like a Champion. That is why I started MMA. To Be the Champion of the Best and to be the best of the best.”

Grateful.
There are no barriers, but there is an opportunity to look at the same path from another angle and become stronger and more human.
If you are open to the Warrior’s path or you simply tell yourself truthfully, you will know where the truth lies.

A new light heavyweight champion is set to be crowned on December 10. When Prochazka recovers from his injury, he plans to return as the ‘rightful champion.’

“This is my Infinite Motivation and Spirit-Consciousness and Will to ACT. I can’t move it even if I force it, It’s like Gravity, a law of physics. So if someone wins the LHW UFC title and proves they are the best NOW while I rest, I will be honored to see that performance and then get ready to show who is the Rightful Champion of this division and MUCH more 1P4P. I Thank my fans for their support and trust. This is the Beginning, of something Greater,” he wrote.
