Jimmy Kimmel is a huge Mets fan.

So the late night host, 53, was proud as ever as he presented his latest production effort, ESPN’s latest 30 For 30 series, Once Upon A Time In Queens at Los Angeles’ NeueHouse on Friday, September 10.

Kimmel looked sharp as he walked the red carpet with his wife Molly McNearney.

Once Upon A Time In Queens tells the story of the 1986 Mets, who went to the World Series Champions in one roller coaster season for New York’s underdog team.

The four-part docuseries features interviews with such talents as Keith Hernandez, Darryl Strawberry, Dwight Gooden, Mookie Wilson and Kevin Mitchell, with whom Kimmel posed on the red carpet.

Jimmy revealed he said yes to the project almost immediately, saying: The Hollywood Reporter: ‘It came completely out of the blue. It’s not something I intended to do…’

“You get approached about a lot of things, and every once in a while there’s something you don’t have to think about. It’s an instant “Yes.”‘

Also at the event were stars such as Julie Bowen of Modern Family, Maria Menounos and Anna Camp of Pitch Perfect.

Brooklyn Nine Nine’s Joe Lo Truglio, The Office’s Oscar Nunez, Mark Feuerstein, Kimmel sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez and showman Jeff Beacher also took part.

“Great stuff,” Beacher told DailyMail.com. “Jimmy, director Nick Davis, and team really put together a quality documentary.”

Once Upon A Time In Queens will air on September 14 and 15 and will be available to stream after that.
