Jimmy Kimmel brands Marjorie Taylor Greene ‘a sociopath’ for reporting him over ‘violence threat’
TV host Jimmy Kimmel has hit back at Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene after she reported him to the Capitol Police for a joke he made about Will Smith punching her.
Kimmel, speaking last night in a Kimmel Live segment titled “Jimmy vs. Klan Mom,” said, “She’s calling 911 because she was being tricked. She is a snowflake and a sociopath at the same time.
“A snow cop, as we’ll call her from now on… If she’s going to report me to the police, if she wants to play it that way, I’ll report you back.”
Georgia Republican Greene tweeted yesterday that she had reported Kimmel to the Capitol Police for jokingly making a “threat of violence” against her.
She quoted a clip from Kimmel Live in which the comedian said, “This one Klan mother is especially angry with the three Republican senators who said they will vote yes to Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson.”
He then read Greene’s tweet about the Supreme Court nominee. Murkowski, Collins and Romney are pro-pedophiles. They just voted for #KBJ.’
“Wow, where’s Will Smith when you really need him, huh?”
Kimmel fired back after Greene’s police report: ‘Officer? I’d like to report a joke.’
Greene replied, “You weren’t kidding. You hide your misogyny and your racism behind your “jokes” on @ABC. This was a dog whistle of the violent left to attack me or worse, and your already inspiring fantasies against me. How many new death threats do I get who are your fans?’

Kimmel, speaking on his show last night, said Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene was “a snowflake and a sociopath at the same time,” vowing he would report her to the Justice League after she called the Capitol Police about him for a prank that he made about Will Smith slapping her
Greene has been banned from Twitter on her personal account for sharing vaccine conspiracies, but used her congressional account to share the post.
A number of Republicans went after Jackson over what they called lenient convictions in child pornography cases during her time as a judge. Smith infamously hit Chris Rock onstage at the Oscars last week for making a joke about his wife.
Kimmel hit back last night at “probably the worst woman in American politics” about his “brouhaha” with Georgia Rep. Greene after she turned him in to the Capitol Police.
He pointed to the apparent hypocrisy Green had complained of to the “people she wanted to rob…the same police she had voted against to declare a gold congressional medal for defending our Capitol against the insurgency she had launched on 6 January had helped provoke.
“It’s amazing how quickly you can go from ‘These liberals, you can’t say anything more’ to ‘What did you say? I’ll call the police!’ This must be that cancellation culture they’re always talking about!’
“I don’t condone death or other threats to anyone because I myself get dozens a week from the sick that suit you,” Kimmel added, before lashing out at Greene, who posed with a gun for a campaign ad, for hypocrisy. . †
“I also think it’s very rich that a person who did this in her campaign ad [picture of Greene holding a gun] complains about fantasies of violence. How does this even calculate.
This woman, remember that she is the one who subscribes to fringe conspiracy theories and has repeatedly expressed support for the execution of prominent Democratic politicians. Now she’s calling 911 because she was being ridiculed.”
He warned Greene that he would “turn you back in a minute,” but instead go to the justice league instead of the police before asking actors to “bring me my writing table” and play some “writing music.”

Kimmel then appeared to write a message to Batman warning Greene and asking the superhero to “check her out.”
He also pointed out that several of Greene’s allies had sent “vile” messages to Kimmel on Twitter, including Rep. Matt Gaetz.
Gaetz warned the comedian that Greene’s husband, and Greene himself, would make “quick work” of Kimmel.
“Kimmel wouldn’t last too long if he were interested in unprovoked, horrific violence against this congresswoman,” the Florida representative wrote.
Kimmel hit back at the tweet: “What do you propose, another threesome? I don’t know.’
Greene was stripped of her House committee duties last year after posting anti-Semitic and Islamophobic comments and sharing conspiracy theories.
Greene himself has come under fire for liking social media posts calling for violence against lawmakers. In 2019, she liked a post saying it would be “faster” to remove house speaker Nancy Pelosi with a “bullet to the head.”
She has said the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, and Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida were false flag operations and also supported conspiracies related to QAnon and 9/11.
Ketanji Brown Jackson was confirmed by the Senate last night before the Supreme Court with the votes of all Democrats and three Republicans – Sens. Susan Collins, Maine, Mitt Romney, Utah and Lisa Murkowski, Alaska.
Before the vote, the three senators each said they believed she was “well-qualified,” even though they didn’t think they would agree with every decision she made, believing the president should have wide discretion. about his judicial nominees.
Other Republicans cited her lighter convictions, lack of a legal philosophy and refusal to share opinions on things like packing up the court and defining a “woman” as reasons to vote now.
