Country singer Jimmie Allen has set his sights on a group of “lazy doctors” who say they haven’t given his daughter Zara the medical care she needed.

The 36-year-old singer-songwriter claimed on social media on Tuesday that his one-month-old child was discharged by doctors after experiencing “difficulty breathing”, and then “stopping breathing” during a medical emergency.

Fortunately, the daughter he shares with wife Alexis Gale was revived by paramedics, although he was concerned about the “tough night” ahead for the family.

Attention doctors, if your one month old patient’s parent tells you the child is having trouble breathing and all your lazy self wants to do is check heart rate and temperature, send them home, find another career ‘ he wrote in his Instagram Stories and on Twitter.

“It’s your job to save lives, so do it.”

He added: “Thanks to the lazy doctors at a hospital in TN who have just sent our daughter home, our daughter Zara has turned colorless and is rushed to another hospital.”

Allen concluded his post by thanking the “great EMT team who brought back Zara’s color” so she could breathe again.

“It’s going to be a rough night,” he concluded.

Allen’s wife Alexis revealed earlier this week that the couple’s one-year-old daughter, Naomi, was also ill, though she didn’t give any details about what the kids were up to.

‘Two sick babies. An exhausted mommy,” the 25-year-old writes with a photo of Zara lying on her stomach next to her older sister.

Alexis, who is a nurse, shared her own fiery words for the medical professionals she believed had abandoned her daughter in a since-disappeared Insta Stories post.

“Yesterday AM Ambulance turned away by hospital at 2am,” she complained. “Basically, if your kid isn’t blue on the lips, they don’t have any answers for you. Those have been my last 24 hours.’

She added: ‘No doctor has taken the time to really listen and make sure she’s really okay – 10 minutes in and out. What this nurse-mom sees/hears is so frightening.’

She ended by thanking her followers for their “kind words and for thinking of us during this time,” and said she hoped to get “more answers” about Zara’s condition soon.

The couple originally envisioned a wedding in 2020, although the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has delayed their plans.

They welcomed their first child, Naomi, in March 2020.

Jimmie also has a son, seven-year-old Aadyn, from a previous relationship.
