Jim Harbaugh has taken fans inside the RV where he’s been residing since landing the Los Angeles Chargers job, and the coach revealed his modest digs in a new video of the team.
Harbaugh, who will earn $16 million this year, has been residing in a trailer park in Huntington Beach, California, for the past two months.
And the 60-year-old, who won a national championship with Michigan earlier this year, seems to love life in a mobile home, calling it “a good place to think” and praising the “solitude” it provides.
Harbaugh showed off the RV’s kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, and even gave a peek at the DVD collection that has kept him entertained, while holding a copy of the movie ‘Joe Dirt.’
Just yards from Harbaugh’s mobile home, Chargers offensive coordinator Greg Roman has also been living in a mobile home, although his accommodations are a bit more luxurious, as Chargers video shows.

And this is where Harbaugh sleeps at night, and the coach says the RV offers “solitude.”
Harbaugh also showed off his DVD collection, which included the movie ‘Joe Dirt.’
However, they both agreed that it was not difficult to sleep in an RV.
“Some of the nights when it rains, is there a better night’s sleep you can get? … it allows you to sleep well,” Harbaugh said as he stood next to his OC.
Harbaugh also revealed that the RV had made previous trips to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Baltimore, Maryland, and Kansas City, Missouri.
But the trip to Southern California, which was actually made by his brother-in-law, John Feuerborn, he said, is by far the truck’s longest trip.
Roman, for his part, enjoys more luxurious accommodation in his motorhome, as shown in the video

Harbaugh will earn $16 million this season after signing a five-year contract with the Chargers.
“In the RV world, I’m not that fancy,” Harbaugh previously said. “My Ford Motorcoach hits me perfectly,” Harbaugh added. ‘It’s been incredible. Yeah, it’s been really good. I go back there, it’s a good time to think. It’s been just great.’
In other Harbaugh-related news, Michigan has reached a settlement with the NCAA over alleged recruiting violations that occurred during the COVID pandemic, when Harbaugh was in charge.
The school will serve three years of NCAA probation, pay a fine and face recruiting restrictions after the school and five current or former employees reached a settlement with the NCAA, the organization said.
Harbaugh was not a party to that agreement and the alleged violations involving him will be considered separately at a later date.
