First lady Jill Biden sparked outrage after speaking at the first White House Cabinet meeting in a year.

President Joe Biden convened his Cabinet on Friday for the first time since last October and was joined by the First Lady, who spoke about women’s health research.

Explaining her presence at the session, Biden said: “First Ladies have attended these meetings in the past for specific reasons.

“This is Jill’s first time joining us, and it underlines the importance of the topic she’s about to address,” he added before handing her the floor: “It’s all yours, girl.”

Greg Price referenced this comparison online, adding: “She’s literally Edith Wilson, except she’s openly exposed in a 24/7 news cycle, and no one in the media cares.”

One political commentator also posted about the First Lady kicking off the meeting, posting: ‘Jill Biden is kicking off the first cabinet meeting the White House has had in almost a year and we’re expected to act like this is normal.’

Steve Cortes, a former adviser to former President Donald Trump, described Biden as “visibly exhausted.”

He posted: ‘Wow. A visibly exhausted Joe Biden just held a full cabinet meeting for the first time in 11 months and immediately handed the microphone to his wife. Who’s running the country?’

Matt Kadish added: “Basically, they’re admitting that Jill has been the one in charge of things this whole time.”

While Randy Weber, representative for Texas’ 14th Congressional District, added: ‘Sleepy Joe is asleep at the wheel again.’

Federalist Party co-founder Sean Davis sarcastically posted: “I didn’t know our constitutional system of government gave any power to the unelected wife of the figurehead president.”

Comedian Tim Young also added: ‘Jill Biden is the head of the table at the cabinet meeting.

“No one voted for her to be there, this must be part of their agreement for Joe to drop out of the race. She has no reason to be there.”

In a statement to Fox NewsWhite House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates said: ‘Before President Biden updated his Cabinet and the country on the continuing accomplishments of the most successful administration in modern history, he asked the First Lady to join him at the start of the meeting to showcase the groundbreaking work they are leading to fundamentally change the way we fund and approach women’s health research.

“If the only response these critics have is conspiracy theories that devalue historic progress in women’s health research, including about terrible diseases, then that says a lot about why more and more American women feel like the right doesn’t care about them in the slightest, even as it promotes sweeping abortion bans.”

President Biden left the White House after a Cabinet meeting to prepare for a weekend summit with the leaders of the Quad, Australia, India and Japan.

Biden dropped out of the presidential race on July 21 after his terrible debate performance against Donald Trump, raising concerns about his mental abilities.

Before Biden renounced the party’s nomination, Jill Biden was considered the most powerful First Lady in more than a century and wielded strong influence in the West Wing.
