Jetstar is launching a big deal to celebrate its 20th birthday, with airfares starting at just $77

Jetstar is launching a massive sale to celebrate its 20th anniversary, with the airline offering tickets for as little as $87.

The budget airline will have more than 200,000 fares with free returns in 64 domestic and 33 international destinations.

The 48-hour sale will begin at 12am AEST on Wednesday and end at 11:59pm AEST on Thursday, unless sold out before the deadline.

The airline expects seats to sell out quickly, but Club Jetstar members will get exclusive early access 12 hours before the general public.

Travelers can score bargains including flights from Sydney to Ballina in Byron Bay from $77, and from Gold Coast to Wellington from $243.

The airline has transported more than 400 million customers across its domestic and international network since its inception 20 years ago.

“The annual Jetstar birthday sale is always one of our biggest sales of the year and has become increasingly popular with customers over the past two decades.”
