Jetstar has launched a flash sale, offering jet-set flights across Australia for just $ 55 and the chance to take free round-trip flights.
The budget airline’s ‘return for free’ sale begins Wednesday at midnight, giving travel bugs access to 340,000 fares on routes across the country.
The sale – which lasts until 11:59 PM on Thursday unless sold out earlier – includes popular routes such as Melbourne to Sydney and Brisbane to Uluru.
Fares from Adelaide to Hobart can be found for $ 102 as part of Jetstar’s ‘return for free’ sale, which will go on sale to the public at midnight Wednesday morning. Pictured is the Hobart skyline
Flights from Brisbane to Uluru are included in the ‘free return’ sale. The sale lasts until 11:59 PM on Thursday evening, unless sold out
Club Jetstar members have access to the sale on Tuesdays from noon before it opens to the public 12 hours later.
Other destinations include Margaret River, Gold Coast, Cairns, Hobart, Hervey Bay and Hamilton Island.
Melbourne to Sydney is on offer from $ 55, and tickets for Sydney to Hervey Bay can be purchased from $ 151.
Brisbane to Uluru costs $ 179, as does Melbourne to Busselton, the gateway to WA’s southwest including the Margaret River wine region.
Jetstar’s sale follows regional airline Rex that announced on Monday that it will offer full-service flights from Sydney to Melbourne starting at $ 39.
Jetstar also offers low-cost flights between major cities, including flights between Melbourne and Sydney starting from $ 30.

The airline is moving part of its international fleet to domestic routes, which it says would create hundreds of jobs.
About 30,000 Qantas and Jetstar employees lost their jobs in March last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Since then, the airline has expanded its number of domestic routes to 58 – with flights to 21 domestic destinations – as the airline tries to make up for the shortage of revenue from international flights.
