The New York Jets have reportedly ended their holdout on elite pass rusher Haason Reddick.

Reddick is expected to be with the team Monday morning after Sunday night’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to ESPN.

The disgruntled outside linebacker was traded to the Jets in the offseason, but hasn’t prepared for the gang green since launching his resistance during training camp.

Reddick does not have the long-term contract he is looking for, but for now he is expected to play the remainder of the season.

“We will continue to work toward a long-term extension (sic) with the Jets,” Reddick’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN.

Rosenhaus was hired this week by Reddick, who recently parted ways with another agency.

Less than a week ago the Jets reportedly decided to allow Reddick and his new agent, Rosenhaus, to pursue a trade, according to Dianna Russini of Athletic.

Reddick was traded to the Jets during the offseason with the belief that a new contract would come with the move, but he hasn’t accomplished anything yet.

The 30-year-old was said to lose around $800,000 for every game he missed, given his $14.25 million salary for 2024.

In total, he was allegedly short $9 million, made up of various fines for skipping practice and training camp, as well as his game checks.

Earlier this month, Reddick was fired by his agency CAA, which had remained steadfast in its no-pay-no-play stance.

However, Jets owner Woody Johnson recently revealed that he hopes a leadership change will convince him otherwise.

The Jets parted ways with head coach Robert Saleh following last week’s loss to the Vikings in London, and defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich has since left his first game as interim head coach.

“I hope the young man can come to the team. We would like to have Haason here,” Johnson said.

“We would welcome him with open arms. I’ll extend it. And I haven’t talked to Jeff, but I think he would feel exactly the same.
