Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams found out how many years Aaron Rodgers has been playing on Wednesday and had a hilarious reaction.

Rodgers, 40, is entering his 20th year in the NFL after debuting with the Packers in 2005.

And when a reporter told Williams that Rodgers was about to complete two decades of football service, the young pass rusher couldn’t believe it.

‘Aaron, 20 years in the NFL? Man,” he said, as laughter erupted from the Jets press room.

‘Isn’t our No. 0 running back (rookie Braelon Allen) 20 years old? So (Rodgers) has been in the NFL as long as (Allen) has been alive. That’s crazy, huh? I have to joke with him about that.

Allen, born January 20, 2004, was selected in the fourth round of this year’s draft by the Wisconsin Jets.

Meanwhile, Rodgers played his first NFL snap less than two years later on October 9, 2005.

The future Hall of Fame quarterback, of course, has an impressive resume filled with 10 Pro Bowl appearances, four MVP awards and a Super Bowl ring with the Packers.

But he hasn’t accomplished anything with the Jets to date after injuring his Achilles tendon just four plays into his debut in New York, forcing him to miss the rest of the season.

Speaking to reporters last week after the Jets’ second OTA, he said he doesn’t want to “come out like a bum.”

“I hope to play at a high level,” he said. “I hope we’re productive and competitive and that all of that takes care of itself.”

“If I don’t do what I know I’m capable of, we’ll probably all get out of here, so… I like that kind of pressure though.”

Rodgers also shared a positive update on his recovery from rupturing his Achilles tendon.

“I feel very good,” he said. ‘It’s just about the mental part. These practices have been nice the last few days, just to feel what it’s like to be out there, moving and not thinking about it and seeing how I respond the next day.

‘This is the last part. The strength is good, the movement is good. Just the confidence to do everything.”

Rodgers and the Jets open their season on September 9 at the 49ers.
