Jesy Nelson has broken her silence on the Little Mix feud, revealing that she hasn’t spoken to her band members in two years.
The singer, 31, who released her second solo single Bad Thing on Friday, rose to fame with the group after the four solo singers were banded together on The X Factor in 2011.
jesy, Perrie Edwards, 29, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 31, and Jade Thirlwall30, went on to make history after becoming the first group to win the show.
Still, Jesy left the group in December 2020 for mental health reasons, saying she hasn’t spoken to the other stars of the band since leaving.

Jesy confessed, “I have no regrets because I had to do what was right for me and I will always cherish the memories I had in Little Mix.

‘I’m rooting for them all. I really wish them every success, because they are all insanely talented.’
The star previously revealed that at the height of her bullying, after the group’s X Factor win, she overdosed but was saved by her boyfriend at the time.
Her mother Janice White was ‘distraught’ after her hospitalization and demanded she leave the group – but Jesy was forced to shoot a music video just a week after she received treatment following the attempt.
Following Jesy’s departure in 2020, the three remaining members of Little Mix continued as a trio before going their separate ways last year.
In 2021, Jesy revealed her first solo single, Boyz, and confirmed that she had lost contact with her bandmates.
Speaking on The Graham Norton Show, she said, “We’re not talking anymore. It’s sad, but honestly there’s no bad blood on my part, and I still love them to pieces and sincerely wish them all the best.
“I loved my time with them, and we have the most incredible memories together, but it’s just one of those things that takes time, so who knows.
“To me, they’re still the sickest girl group in the world.”

At the time, Jesy was at the center of massive drama, after Leigh-Anne accused her of blackfishing in the music video for Boyz in leaked messages with influencer NoHun.
Jesy’s Boyz collaborator Nicki Minaj then labeled her former bandmates “jealous clowns” on a barbed Instagram live.
A source claimed that while Jesy was “aware” of Leigh-Anne’s leaked DMs, she wanted to “keep quiet” to avoid a social media altercation.
Jesy has continued to work on her music and she is already working on her second solo album.
While she has yet to release her debut album, Bad Thing singer Jesy revealed she’s already working hard on a follow-up.

Jesy teamed up with Women’s Aid to chart the highs and lows of a toxic relationship in the 1960s music video.
Directed by Charlie Sarsfield, Jesy cried real tears after her on-screen boyfriend (played by Sid Ellisdon) grabbed her by the throat and yelled at her.
The video documents Jesy’s on-screen partner battling infidelity, with the wrong crowd and drugs in London’s East End in the 1960s, as she struggles to leave as he comforts her after their explosive argument.
In Bad Thing, Jesy recalls romance with an ex-boyfriend and being “love blind” due to the powerful lyrics. The star has had a string of high-profile romances but hasn’t delved into who the number is about.
She sings, “Hey, we started at the end, another second chance, to fix it again.”
“I know I’m fine alone, but you feel just like home. My favorite kind of mistake, familiar as a song.”
In the chorus, she calls, “When I’m about to say goodbye, I forget what I cried about last time.”
“The only thing I see clearly is that I am love blind. I’d trade common sense for a good time.
“Damn, I did something bad, I know you are damaged goods. Is it bad that I want to treat you right?’
Jesy talked about her decision to work with Women’s Aid and why she wanted to include a domestic violence storyline to mentor the son.
She said in a Q and A on Instagram, “I just feel like so many women in my life have gone through horrific experiences like this and I just really wanted to become aware of it.
‘I think it’s such an important subject that hardly anyone talks about. There are so many people going through it and they’re too afraid to talk about it and that’s why I think it’s really important.
“Everyone thinks my makeup artist just put streaks of mascara all over my face because they ran in the most perfect lines, but they were real tears.”
Women’s Aid also took to Twitter to praise Jesy for raising awareness. They wrote, “We are proud to have worked with #JesyNelson on her new video #BadThing, which provides a powerful snapshot of the realities of domestic violence.”
Jesy has self-released her second solo single after parting ways with Polydor in July last year due to “creative differences.”
It follows that Jesy is about to sign a big new deal with Warner Records.
She’s said to be in advanced talks with the label, and they’ll be watching her and fans’ reactions to the song closely before offering a deal, according to reports.

Jesy was the first to make the move into solo music with Boyz before Leigh-Anne, 31, signed a solo deal with Warner Records in March 2022.

Meanwhile, Perrie, 29, is also working on solo music, but said she doesn’t have a “fixed timeline” and enjoys being able to explore her own sound.
