Jessica Sutta has given birth to her first child.

The Pussycat Dolls star, 39, and her husband Mikey Marquart have welcomed a little boy named Michael Jesse “MJ” Marquart, who was born on May 25.

Sharing the good news with fans on Wednesday, the new mom revealed that baby MJ weighed 8 lbs 6oz and was born at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, California.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Jessica said, ‘She [Dr. Lacampo] and her team are amazing!

“After four hours of pushing I finally had a cesarean and they moved fast and fast and made it less intimidating for me because I was absolutely nervous.

“But there was so much joy and great chemistry between nurses and doctors that they made the experience comfortable and memorable!

“They even played rock music during the surgery, and when MJ was born, he came out to Led Zeppelin’s Good Times Bad Times.”

A family representative added: ‘Mom, baby and daddy are now safe and well at home enjoying their new family.’

While Jessica also took to Instagram, penning: ‘He’s here! Love that you meet our beautiful baby boy Michael Jesse “MJ” Marquart, born 5/25 at 8lbs 6oz and delivered by the wonderful Dr. Karla Iacampo + team at St. John’s Hospital.

“Mikey and I can’t wait for everyone to meet him, but for now we will adjust to our new role as parents to this beautiful boy. Thank you for all your love and support!’

Her Pussycat Dolls bandmates quickly congratulated her on social media, saying they “can’t wait” to meet the new addition.

Kimberly Wyatt, 39, wrote that she is “more than happy” for Jessica, while Carmit Bachar, 46, told the singer to “sniff every second and rest too.”

Jessica – who married Mikey in 2019 – confirmed she was expecting a baby in March this year, saying 2021 had been an “exciting” year so far.

She said, “It’s been an exciting year for me so far…I’ve always wanted to be a mom…It’s been so exciting and it’s a dream come true.”

The 39-year-old singer also revealed at the time that she had already named her baby MJ, but wasn’t sure if the name would stick.

She added: “I’m having a little boy named MJ. It’s just been an incredible journey. What a beautiful gift 2020 has given me…

“He feels like an MJ to me, but he could be a Mikey, a Jesse, a Zion, or maybe he’ll make up his own name when he gets older. Whatever he wants.

‘It’s his life. I’m just going to have the pleasure of being his mother, and I’m going to let him live and be exactly who he wants to be.”

Jessica’s happy baby news comes after it was reported that The Pussycat Dolls would sign a new management deal before new music is released in 2021.
