Now in its second year, the TAB Eureka race showcases the best Australian-bred Standardbred horses as they compete over a 2300m race.
Jessica’s performance at the event comes after it was revealed why she and fellow The Voice judges Rita Ora and Jason Derulo have not returned to the show.
The high-profile trio were replaced in the 2024 series by newcomers LeAnn Rimes, 41, Kate Miller Heidke, 42, and Adam Lambert, 42.
The only judge returning from last year is veteran Guy Sebastian, 42, amid a major panel shake-up at the talent competition.

And, according to a production source, the reason for the change was the salaries of the former judges and the desire of the producers to keep costs down.
“The decision was made last year and the casting team had been looking for quite some time,” the source said. Yahoo Lifestyle.
The source added that pay increases are necessary to keep returning stars on the show and that the price tag for the older generation was “too expensive.”
“The company’s position was that Jessica, Rita and Jason were too busy, but I don’t think anyone is too busy to not be able to collect those kinds of paychecks,” they continued.
“It certainly had a lot to do with keeping costs down.”
The source claimed they were “nervous” about the new lineup as they reflected on the importance of replacing Keith Urban with the right personality in 2022.

It has been revealed why Jessica and her fellow outgoing Voice Australia coaches Jessica Mauboy and Jason Derulo have not reprised their roles on the show alongside Guy Sebastian.
“Jason was a big risk in 2023 and Channel Seven knew that if he worked on the show his management would ask for a much higher figure to return this year, which in the end was obviously too expensive,” the source told the publication.
It was also claimed that Rita felt she had “overstepped” what she could bring to the show and did not want to return without a pay rise, especially since Guy was the main lead.
Similarly, the source claimed that Jessica was asking for a salary equal to Guy’s, which “could” have been the reason she left the show.
Jessica joined the show as a judge in 2021 and served for two years before her shocking exit alongside her co-stars.
