Notorious mother killer Jessica Camilleri has had time added to her jail sentence after she once again admitted to attacking prison guards.

Camilleri is serving a 16-and-a-half-year sentence for brutally killing his mother inside their western Sydney home in 2019.

She was found guilty of manslaughter for the shocking attack, in which she stabbed her mother Rita at least 100 times, dismembered her face and decapitated her.

But since being jailed, Camilleri has faced new charges of attacking prison services officials.

Last year, he pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting a law enforcement officer and inflicting actual bodily harm.

She was sentenced to 22 months in jail for attacking two guards at Silverwater Correctional Center and effectively had a year added to her non-parole period, meaning she was eligible for release for the first time in July 2032.

A video played in court showed Camilleri pulling a handful of hair from the scalp of one of the guards.

Camilleri was back in court on Thursday after pleading guilty to a similar attack on two guards at Dillwynia Correctional Center in March last year.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting a law enforcement officer.

At Penrith District Court on Thursday, Judge Michael Allen sentenced Camilleri to 12 months in prison, with a probation period of nine months.

He was granted a 25 percent discount on his sentence due to his early guilty plea.

Camilleri will now be eligible for release on December 4, 2032.
