The 43-year-old was photographed in New York City wearing a beige button-down vest, matching pants, and a white T-shirt. Jessica kept it casual with white boots and a matching white bag.
The actress accessorized her look with chunky gold hoops, a gold pendant, and black sunglasses. Jessica’s light brown hair framed her face and hung loose.
The entrepreneur was out with a friend two days after appearing on The Tonight Show, where she discussed her resignation as creative director of The Honest Company after 12 years.

Jessica Alba seemed to be in great spirits in New York City on Wednesday after dropping off her box-office hit Honest Company.
The movie star was walking with a friend as they headed to lunch.
Jessica, who was dressed in head-to-toe Fendi, sporting a sheer gray long-sleeved blouse, a burgundy suede skirt, and gray pointed-toe pumps, took a moment to gush about the company’s new CEO.
‘I have Carla Vernon,’ he said, ‘and she runs the company and she’s great. “There is a whole senior leadership team that is fantastic.”
Jessica co-founded the eco-friendly baby, beauty and cleaning products company in 2012, but now she’s ready to return to the entertainment industry.
In February, she launched the production company Lady Spitfire and will make her debut in the female action film Trigger Warning on June 21 on Netflix.
‘I want to produce more’ Jessica told Jimmy, ‘and Trigger Warning for me, I love action movies. I love doing action and I love stunts, so the producers who made John Wick and Sicario did this and I was like, “I want to have a cool, down-to-earth female action movie.” So the director was a woman and the writer who made The Last Step was a woman. The producers were women. The DP is a woman. Put the women on deck. So we had a lot of department heads in a fairly male-dominated genre.”
Jessica then gave fans a brief synopsis of what they could expect from the film.
“Parker is my character and something tragic happens at home,” he explained. ‘Then my father passes away, and then I go home to tie things up, and he doesn’t smell good. Things don’t really add up. And she’s a Special Forces commando.
The plot thickens from there, as Jessica says, “She was on active duty when she got pulled out and she actually discovers the local illegal arms trade that’s going on in the city and takes on this gang on her own.
Meanwhile, Jessica’s home life is also action-packed for a different reason. The mother of three shared that she and her husband Cash Warren, who they share Honor, 15, Haven, 12, and her son Hayes, 6, are preparing for their eldest daughter’s birthday.
The businesswoman went out with a friend in the middle of the press for her new action movie starring a woman, Trigger Warning, which arrives on Netflix on June 21.
The star’s return to the entertainment industry comes on the heels of her resignation as creative director of The Honest Company after 12 years.
“They are fantastic,” Jessica shared. ‘They are getting bigger. My eldest daughter officially drives and very soon she will be 16 years old. I thought, “Your 16th birthday. This is my time to really shine as a party planner.” And she said, “No, Mom, it’s so embarrassing.”
Despite trying to convince Honor of her epic party-planning skills, the teen refused to budge.
“She says, ‘I just want to have dinner with my friends, like 22 or something. And then we’re just going to play,” Jessica said. “And I was like, ‘Oh my God, I have a player! We can do stations.’
“I feel like he’s my fourth baby and I sent him to college,” the actress admitted when introducing Jimmy Fallon about her departure from The Honest Company. ‘It was difficult, but I’m ready for my next chapter’
The 43-year-old celebrated her 16th wedding anniversary in May. She and Cash Warren share children: Honor, 15, Haven, 12, and her son Hayes, 6.
But Honor doesn’t want to accept her mother’s offer. ‘I throw good parties, man!’ Jessica joked with Jimmy. “No, she’s not having any of that.”
Although the star won’t be able to use her party planning skills this time around, she recently had another sweet reason to celebrate.
’16 years of marriage, 20 years together and forever… Happy anniversary @cashwaren’, Jessica broke out on Instagram may 19. ‘I’m proud of us for having come this far. There is no real set of rules or guidance that can prepare you for what it means to commit to another person and choose to be a family. Through thick and thin, we have continually found our way back to each other and chosen each other. Greetings to us, I love you.”
As for the secret to their lasting love? Communication.
“I think sometimes it’s over-communication, sometimes it’s under-communication,” he said. Entertainment tonight in August. “It’s about communicating how you feel.”
