Noosa Mayor Tony Wellington soon told him to resign because he had discredited the council with his & # 39; misogynistic, rude and very offensive & # 39; behaviour.
However, the same requirement was not imposed on fellow member Frank Pardon, who is on trial in December for alleged sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl.
Pardon is faced with 11 indictments, including indecent treatment of a child in his care about an alleged sexual relationship with the teenager in the mid-1990s.
The Maroochydore court in July heard the first details about the alleged crimes of the complainant's former psychologist.
& # 39; The complainant referred to sexual abuse by Frank Pardon and that he apparently brought flowers to her school, & # 39; she said.
& # 39; The complainant stated that the event first occurred when she was 13 and that she told her mother when she was 28, but her mother did not believe her. & # 39;

Queensland state laws automatically suspend city council members if they are accused of a long list of crimes.
However, gender crimes are not included because they are not considered integrity crimes, such as fraud or corruption.
Former Logan and Ipswich mayors, Luke Smith and Andrew Antoniolli, were suspended for charges of official corruption and fraud respectively.
Pardon's alleged crimes also date from before his election to Noosa council in 1997, which the council used to justify being suspended.
& # 39; The allegations relate to 1994 before the election of Cr Pardon to Noosa Council in 1997 & # 39 ;, said Managing Director Brett de Chastel.
& # 39; The Council will not comment further, as it is a matter for the courts. & # 39;
Cr Glasgow did not buy this excuse and refused to resign while Pardon was still in office.
& # 39; These are bulls ** t. This guy tells me to stand up if you have a man who is confronted (with indictment), & he told the Sunday Mail.
& # 39; Look, I like Frank OK, but no one deserves to be thrown in for a TV show. & # 39;
Under fire: When he entered the council rooms in Noosa on Friday, the Sunshine Coast councilor was confronted with a male protester holding a sign saying: & # 39; Sack Sleazy Jess & # 39;
Glasgow is being investigated by the Office of the Independent Assessor for a possible behavioral breach as a result of his behavior at The Bachelorette.

In the Thursday night episode of The Bachelorette, Jess joked that Angie would ride him & # 39; and brutally told her that he might & # 39; maybe get some wandering fingers & # 39 ;.
Bachelor farewell to Bachelorette Angie
During Thursday's episode of The Bachelorette, Angie Kent said that Jess & # 39; her (de) engerds & # 39; gave during their group date.
But she only confronted him when she heard that he had also made female crew members uncomfortable with his persistent flirting.
During their showdown at the cocktail party, Angie said to Jess: & # 39; You felt very uncomfortable at the photo shoot. I said I wanted to have fun, but I feel like you have gone too far.
& # 39; I will never allow a man to come in and deal with my sisterhood. Never.
& # 39; I feel like you think this is a joke, and that really annoys me. You never talk about me as a person. You always talk about me like a piece of meat. & # 39;
While Jess interrupted to apologize for & # 39; improper action & # 39 ;, Angie snarled: & I really don't believe a word you say.
& # 39; I don't trust you and I'm sorry, you have to go. & # 39;
Dumping: Jess was sent home in the episode of The Bachelorette on Thursday, after Angie Kent (photo) confronted him with his inappropriate behavior
After packing his bags and driving into the limousine, Jess denied any misconduct.
& # 39; Apparently I was a bit rude to her during the photo shoot. That is bulls ** t, & he said.
& # 39; Apparently that was too sexual. I do not know. It is clear that it is just another opinion. I know that nothing has happened deep inside. & # 39;
He added: & I'm going back to Noosa to find the love of my life in a dirty, dingy nightclub. & # 39;
Later in the episode, he called Angie a & # 39; b *** h & # 39; after being told that she wanted to talk to him about his inappropriate behavior on the set.
He was eventually packed, but told home producers on the limousine that his journey to finding love was not over yet.
& # 39; I'm going back to Noosa to find the love of my life in a dirty, dingy nightclub, & # 39; he said.
While still confronted with his reaction to the show, Jess told Daily Mail Australia that his only supporter is his new girlfriend, Mandy Lopez.
& # 39; I wouldn't be surprised if she left me. It's not the kind of attention you want & # 39 ;: Jess is afraid that his girlfriend Mandy Lopez (right) will leave him because of his behavior on The Bachelorette
On the photo: Jess & # 39; girlfriend Mandy Lopez on the beach in an undated photo
He described his girlfriend as his & # 39; light at the end of the tunnel & # 39; but admitted that she writhed & # 39; & # 39; part of his behavior on The Bachelorette.
& # 39; I wouldn't be surprised if she left me. It is not the kind of attention you want. If I were her, I'd leave, & he added.
When asked why an upcoming politician would appear in a dating program, Jess said he saw it as an opportunity to find a partner.
& # 39; I'm pretty poor, so I decided to go on TV and start the experience with an open heart & # 39 ;, he said.
& # 39; I actually wanted to show my good side, but the worst side of me was shown. I've never seen that side of me before. & # 39;
Angie: & # 39; Why Jess shouldn't be fired & # 39;
Speak about The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Friday, Angie said that Jess should not lose his scandal job.
& # 39; I am not asking him to lose his job, I just did it for myself and other women he made uncomfortable, & # 39; she said.
& # 39; When I heard he made other women feel uncomfortable, I saw red. I don't want him being bullied online, I can't stand that. & # 39;
Angie added that she hopes Jess will learn from the experience & # 39; and will treat women with more respect in the future.
& # 39; I'm not asking him to lose his job & # 39 ;: Angie (photo) said on Friday about The Kyle and Jackie O Show that Jess should not resign from the Noosa council about the scandal
Jess insisted that he was not a sexist and blamed his horrible behavior for & # 39; a mixture of alcohol, a stomach virus and lack of sleep & # 39 ;.
& # 39; I am not a hatred of women, I am not degrading women, & # 39; he added.
In the aftermath of the scandal, Jess receives psychiatric treatment with thanks to his city council to remove this hiccup from his mind & # 39 ;.
Jess added that Channel 10 & # 39; a lot of support & # 39; had bid, but finally threw him & # 39; under the bus & # 39; with the editing of the show.
& # 39; They emphasized certain things and said that I had to make certain movements during the photo shoot, & # 39; he said.
Jess also claimed that he had never applied for the Bachelorette and was scouted by producers & # 39; & # 39; as a potential villain.
& # 39; They called me, they knew I was a good person to throw under the bus, & # 39; he said.

His only friend in the world! Jess was comforted by his father (left) on Friday when he was handling media calls
Despite the fact that Mayor Wellington was told to resign from his council position, Jess has no intention of giving up his political career.
& # 39; None of us thought Donald Trump would be elected, & # 39; he said, hinting that he would defend his position for re-election.
One thing he will do in the coming weeks is to speak out about women's issues.
Jess, who described his grandmother as his hero, would like to support the reception of local women for those experiencing domestic violence.
But if this last scandal marks the end of his political career, Jess explained that he is simply falling back & # 39; in his former profession as an engineer.
Meanwhile, Angie Kent has since come out to defend Jess and said to The Kyle and Jackie O Show: & I don't want him to lose his job. & # 39;
Mayor of Noosa calls on Jess to stop
Below is Tony Wellington's full statement about Cr Jess Glasgow:
& # 39; I call on Cr Jess Glasgow to immediately resign from Noosa as alderman.
& # 39; With his appearance in the reality TV show The Bachelorette, alderman Jess Glasgow has revealed behavior that is completely inappropriate for a Noosa alderman, even for an individual.
& # 39; The behavior shown was misogynistic, rude and very offensive.
& # 39; Whether or not Glasgow just acted in front of the & # 39; s camera, he demonstrated incredibly poor judgment by letting himself lie, extremely and consistently disrespectful to women, and outright offensive.
& # 39; That he did this while referring to Noosa is of great concern to many residents of Noosa, Noosa companies, visitors to Noosa and our Council staff.

& # 39; After the first episode, I stated that Cr Glasgow would be referred to the Office of the Independent Assessor because of his behavior that brought the Council and the community into disrepute.
& # 39; Complete this was untruths told by Cr Glasgow to the media suggesting that he had been allowed the mayor to appear on the TV program, as well as false statements about presumed accrued leave and rights to be paid.
& # 39; Now that I watched the second episode of last night's program, I spoke to Cr Glasgow and told him to seriously consider resigning his position as a councilor in the Noosa Council.
& # 39; Although I do not have the legal authority to remove a sitting councilor, he has demonstrably discredited the Council and undermined the good reputation of our Shire.
& # 39; Simply put, there is absolutely no room for nasty female hatred and loutish behavior in Noosa or in Noosa Council. & # 39;
