The heartbroken sister of a murdered Channel 10 presenter has broken her silence and posted an online tribute to her “best friend and now guardian angel”.
Kourtnee Baird, 23, the little sister of Jesse Baird, 26, shared a photo of herself with her brother on Instagram 11 days after he was allegedly murdered.
Beau Lamarre-Condon, 28, has been accused of murdering Mr Baird and his partner Luke Davies, 29, on the terrace of Mr Baird’s Paddington home at 9.50am on February 19 .
Kourtnee Baird, the little sister of slain former Channel 10 anchor Jesse Baird, broke her silence for the first time following her brother’s death.
Baird said his brother was his “first friend” and is now his “guardian angel.”
Baird shared his feelings on Friday night after hundreds of people gathered in Sydney to remember his brother and his new partner ahead of Mardi Gras.
She said her brother was her’first friend,” who showed me “how important it is to be myself (and) for pushing me to achieve my goals and helping me believe that anything is possible.”
‘There will never be enough words to express the pain we all feel. You truly were the most inspiring, influential, caring and loving person,” she wrote.
“You were the bright light in the room, the show pony, first and last on the dance floor, and as I sit here writing this with tears streaming down, I can’t help but smile and laugh at the memories that remain.”

He added that Mr Baird had achieved something “unforgettable” during his life while remaining humble and always putting others first.
“The mark you have left on the world is unforgettable and I promise to continue the legacy you built,” he continued.

‘Your passion and love for life were inspiring, you were unique, you were humble, you were loyal, but most of all, you were kind.
‘I’ll miss your impressions, hearing your voice appear on TV, your smile and the way you can change the mood of the room just by being present.
“Now I will always be looking at the sky for the brightest star, the colorful rainbows and fluttering butterflies, and I will know that it is you who holds me up.”

The bodies of Baird and Davies were discovered in Bungonia, in New South Wales’ Southern Tablelands, on Wednesday, five days after Lamarre-Condon surrendered at Bondi police station.
Lamarre-Condon, a former celebrity hunter who posted photos of himself with international stars on social media, He faced Waverley Local Court that afternoon when he was represented by a lawyer from the Legal Aid Commission and did not apply for bail.
A moment of silence will be held at Sydney Mardi Gras on Saturday night in honor of Mr Baird and Mr Davies.
