Socialite Jess Ingham has revealed what she really thinks about being known as Australia’s ‘chicken heiress’.

Jess, whose grandfather helped set up Ingham’s poultry empire, was asked during an Instagram Q&A on Sunday how she felt about her tabloid name.

“LOL, it is what it is,” the billionaire replied.

“I never worry about what people say — I can’t live your life worrying about that sort of thing,” she added.

Jess is the granddaughter of businessman Jack Ingham, the co-founder of the Ingham’s Chicken empire which sold for about $1 billion in 2013.

Jack and his brother Bob Ingham started their poultry farm in 1953 and by the 1970s they had built Ingham’s into the largest chicken and turkey farm in Australia.

Bob and Jack earned a spot on The Australian Financial Review’s first-ever Rich List in 1983 with a combined net worth of $150 million.

Since then, the family has been on the Rich List.

Meanwhile, Jess showed off her extravagant wealth in March when she married longtime partner Roger Zraika in a lavish ceremony in Sydney.

Jess looked stunning in a $20,000 custom Vera Wang wedding dress that fell off her shoulders and featured tiered bell sleeves with “love” embroidered on them in black.

At the reception, each table was given an extravagant cake for dessert, topped with different kinds of berries.

The guests then watched the newlyweds dance slowly under a Christmas-lit display with Jess’ four-year-old daughter Mimi.
