Alex Scott and Jess Glynne turned heads with their red carpet debut at the amFAR Gala in Cannes.
The event marked the first time the couple, who have been dating since May 2023, posed together at such an event, as they have often attended events separately since going public with their relationship.
The sports commentator, 39, and the singer, 34, revealed their romance to the world last November after six months of secret dating.
And despite attending several high-profile events together since announcing their relationship, the glamorous couple didn’t have a single photo together on the red carpet until Thursday.
Despite it being their red carpet debut, the power couple now known as ‘JAlex’ looked like seasoned professionals as they posed together before Jess performed at the amfAR gala to songs from her new album ‘JESS’.

Before they met, Jess and Alex were looking for love. In March 2023, the former Arsenal footballer said that she was “struggling” to find a partner and she even took Jamie Redknapp’s advice in the hope of finding her perfect match.
She explained that she was “open” to meeting both men and women and that she “never closes herself” when it comes to dating.
After “struggling” with some dating apps, Alex said his friend and former footballer Jamie told him about the app Raya, which is often used by celebrities.
Speaking about her love life, she told Grazia magazine: “It’s really difficult (to find someone) because people have a lot of preconceived ideas.” I struggle with apps.
‘For me, it’s about connection, that instant connection with someone and the conversation and I’m like, ‘Oh, wow.’
“I remember Jamie Redknapp saying to me, ‘There’s a dating app, Raya…’ So I was on it, but I was too scared to hook up with anyone.”
Meanwhile, Jess previously spoke about “not putting a label” on her sexuality in a 2015 interview with The daily star.
She said: “I’ve only been with one girl in my life and that’s the girl on my album (2015’s I Cry When I Laugh).
Although the couple has been dating since May of last year, they have not been photographed together on the red carpet.

After going public with their relationship, Jess said the reception from others has been positive.
“I will never put a label on my sexuality and people should never feel uncomfortable about who they love.”
Jess said her debut album was inspired by her relationship with a girl.
She said during an interview with The independent: ‘The songs on this album are about a girl. She would never lie about a situation I’ve been in. I feel like with the album I’m putting my cards on the table.
‘I wouldn’t want it to be misunderstood and the fact is that those songs are about a girl. He was heartbroken over a girl, he wasn’t a boy.
In October, reports emerged that Alex and Jess were in a secret relationship and were “really happy” together.
At the time, the football pundit and the singer were said to be “really happy” to “officially be a couple” and were photographed cuddling during a coffee date in London.
The former Arsenal player smiled as she shared a warm hug with Jess, who cut a casual figure in an oversized hoodie and dark jeans on their low-key outing.
The duo attended the premiere of David Beckham’s Netflix documentary in October, but did not pose for a photo together.
The London couple often share romantic images of each other on their Instagram stories.

At the last red carpet event the couple attended, the BRIT Awards in March, they did not pose together.
In December 2023, they attended the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards and again did not pose together, although they did take a sweet selfie.
Alex and Jess confirmed their relationship in November 2023, when they were photographed kissing in public.
Three days later, Alex used this photo and more to go Instagram official with Jess and post it to her Instagram grid for the first time.
In November 2023, days after their romance was revealed, they still played coy at the GQ Men of the Year Awards, posing separately.
The month before, they were glamor personified in red and black at the Glamor Women of the Year Awards.
On October 11, they responded to what were then just rumors about their relationship by dressing in matching black lace at the Attitude Awards.
Then in November last year, Alex and Jess finally confirmed their romance when they were seen sharing a passionate kiss.
The sports presenter and singer were seen packing on the PDA as they shared a passionate kiss while strolling through central London together.
Jess was seen walking with her arm around Alex’s shoulders and the pair appeared to be in good spirits as they smiled and laughed together.
They then stopped to share a kiss and a sweet hug before going their separate ways near Great Portland Street station.
After the couple went public, Jess gushed that their high-profile relationship had only attracted “super positive” attention.
The singer, who went Instagram official with the football presenter at Christmas last year, said she “didn’t know what to expect” when they got together.
Having always kept previous relationships “very private,” she happily revealed that the couple “haven’t received any negativity at all.”

Talking to Fearne Cotton about her Happy place On the podcast, Jess said: “The work I’ve done on myself has really settled me inside and allowed me to get into a relationship where I feel very comfortable and it’s just me.” It’s me unapologetically.
‘It has allowed me to be really happy in a new relationship. I think love is a really scary topic and it’s usually something I keep pretty distant.
“But it’s nice to be able to hug someone and have a relationship that feels really good.”

In April, Alex opened up about his relationship with Jess, adding that he loves being “more vulnerable” in their relationship.
The famous duo looked cozy as they shared a plate of traditional food on Burns Night in January this year.
The former footballer spoke in a candid interview with Women’s health UK where he revealed his relationship with the singer Jess.
Alex said: ‘I’m in this bubble at the moment… I’m more open to accepting and being more vulnerable and I’m absolutely enjoying this stage.
‘I’m enjoying saying, okay, I’m going to get on with this. I think I was very closed-minded before. All those walls have collapsed.
But it wasn’t until Thursday that the couple finally posed together on the red carpet.
Alex donned a gorgeous pale rose gold off-the-shoulder semi-sheer dress that she paired with large chandelier earrings.
Jess wore a plain white, short-sleeved, one-shoulder dress with a matching belt and rope, and stunning silver earrings.
The couple kept their fingers intertwined even as they stepped out for more gorgeous photos.
It didn’t take long for the public to recognize the couple’s stellar looks and endearing personalities, confirming their position as a power couple or, for more serious fans, JAlex.
