Jesinta recently revealed that she and her husband Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin plan to put their luxurious Gold Coast mansion back up for sale after it failed to sell at auction.
The power couple took the sprawling seven-bedroom “Mediterranean”-style home off the market in September after it was auctioned for $11 million.
With the auction price falling short of their reserve, Jesinta, 33, told Daily Mail Australia in November that they plan to put their luxury property back on the market in the New Year.
He said they will look for buyers to take over the family home for more than $11 million.
“We will put it up for sale again in the New Year, we have already sold it at auction,” explained the model.
“It went for $11 million, so if there’s anyone over $11 million who wants a beautiful home on the Gold Coast, you know who to call!”
The couple are selling their property to try life on the farm with their children: daughter Tullulah, three, and son Rocky, two.
“We’re looking at so many properties that we spend our weekends in the country, driving around and looking for land,” he shared.
‘We haven’t found the perfect place yet, but I feel like we’re getting closer.
“It’s really important to get the right land for what we want to do and it’s really exciting.”
Jesinta also told how her family life has changed since Buddy retired from the AFL in July 2023 following a calf injury.
“It’s been really good (having Bud home),” he said.
“It’s been just amazing, it’s really flowing now and we can both support each other with our work commitments and everything, so it’s been fantastic, he’s a good dad.”
He said they have been able to take more time to take their children on fun trips and activities and told them how important it is for them to enjoy this time together.
“I love being a mom. This year I really took a step back from work to spend time with the kids because Bud took a year off, obviously his first year after retiring, and Lulu starts school next year,” she shared. .
‘It is a privilege that we can have this time with the children.
‘It’s a lot of caravanning, camping, beach time, time at the streams and waterfalls and really appreciating this time with them before school starts!’
