Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick’s criminal case has been dismissed.
The reality star’s lawyer, James Leonard, 37, told DailyMail.com exclusively on Tuesday: “We are happy to report that all original charges were dismissed in court today against Angelina.
‘He admitted that on the night in question he caused a minor disturbance in his own home. That is all we recognized in Court and the Court accepted it as a factual basis for declaring disorderly conduct.
‘This conduct, as described, does not constitute a criminal offense in the state of New Jersey. “We are very happy with this result and she is grateful that the matter is behind her.”
Pivarnick had pleaded not guilty to assault and resisting arrest after an alleged domestic violence incident at the $1.3 million New Jersey mansion she shares with fiancé Vinny Tortorella in June.

Judge Nicole Sonnenblick conditionally dismissed the charge and stated that if Pivarnick meets specific parole requirements within the next year, his plea will be expunged from his record, according to Asbury Park Press.
At the victim’s request, the prosecutor filed a motion to dismiss four other charges: obstruction of the administration of the law, resisting arrest, simple assault and criminal mischief, according to the outlet.
Leonard confirmed to DailyMail.com that Pivarnick must stay out of trouble for a year and pay a fine of $583.
The reality star was arrested on Sunday, June 2 at 11 pm following a visit from the Freehold Township Police Department, DailyMail.com reported after attending a virtual court hearing held on Tuesday, July 23.
Pivarnick was present at the virtual hearing, held by the Freehold Township Municipal Court, and was accompanied by her attorney Leonard, who also represents Real Housewives Of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice.
Tortorella also briefly appeared at the Zoom hearing on a separate device, but later left the meeting.
She was charged with “simple assault, criminal mischief, obstruction of the administration of law and resisting arrest,” a county clerk said during the virtual hearing.
When police responded to Pivarnick’s home, she “committed an act of obstruction by intentionally fleeing uniformed officers in an attempt to run into a home, lock the door, and prevent authorities from conducting a domestic violence investigation.” , according to the signed complaint. by one of the responding officers, via Asbury Park Press.
The complaint also alleges that the reality star pushed the officers’ arms away and refused to follow their commands after being taken into custody.
The victim’s name has been redacted from the complaint, but she is said to have suffered a “bodily injury” allegedly sustained by Pivarnick “by hitting him with his hands/fists causing scratches, redness, and complaints of pain to the victim’s hands.”
That alleged injury was the basis for Pivarnick’s simple assault charge, and she was also charged with criminal mischief after police claimed she hit the victim’s “vehicle with her hands causing less than $500 in damage.”
The victim reportedly gave officers a statement about the alleged attack on her vehicle and presented them with a video of that incident, according to the outlet.

Pivarnick was never taken to jail and was instead released after a citation and fine.
Pivarnick snapped up the four-bedroom, five-bathroom Freehold property in October 2021, following her divorce from Chris Larangeira in January 2021.
He began dating Tortorella in 2022 after they connected on social media. The couple got engaged in 2023.
Their proposal was documented in an April 2023 episode of MTV’s Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, a revival of the hit reality series Jersey Shore, which began airing in 2018.
Months later, Page six reported that Angelina called the police on Vinny after an alleged altercation at her home.
