Jerry Jones' family hit in car accident outside Levi's Stadium ahead of Cowboys' game against 49ers

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ family was reportedly involved in a car accident before Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.

The general manager’s relatives were traveling to Levi’s Stadium, where the Cowboys faced the 49ers on ‘Sunday Night Football’.

The second vehicle in the Jones family motorcade was struck by a barricade erected outside the stadium, according to The Athletic.

The 82-year-old man’s children, Charlotte Jones and Jerry Jones Jr., and his grandson, Shy Anderson Jr., were said to have been traveling in the struck vehicle.

Both Charlotte and Jerry Jr. were reportedly examined by the team’s medical staff, before being allowed to move to the visiting owner’s suite for kickoff.

Charlotte is believed to have suffered a rib injury, while reports suggest Jerry Jr. may have suffered a head injury.

More to follow.
