Jermaine Jenas is about to be given a career lifeline after being sacked by the BBC for sending “inappropriate” text messages to two colleagues.
The former footballer, 41, was sacked from his presenting roles on The One Show and Match Of The Day after junior staff raised concerns about his behaviour.
But TNT Sports has not removed him from its coverage and he is expected to return to the screen this season, according to The telegraph.
Jenas was not due to work during Brighton’s game against Manchester United last weekend despite rumours he had been sacked.
A TNT source said they hope to see him return after the international break in September.
