Jermaine Jenas and Jermaine Pennant enjoyed a festive night out together at Hooters as they joined a group of friends for a boozy celebration.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and England midfielder, 41, was sacked from the BBC in August after sending explicit text messages to two employees at the broadcaster, where he worked on Match Of The Day and The One Show.
But this weekend he had a smile on his face again as he joked around at the American restaurant chain, famous for its scantily clad waitresses, with a group of friends.
Jenas revealed that the group were at the ‘annual fantasy drinks’ and Pennant was forced to bring the beers after finishing the league in last place.
He said: ‘A little late but we finally got our annual fantasy league drinks from last year! Jermaine Pennant was the last one to bring the drinks today.
The group was joined by a cardboard cutout of Jessica Gunning’s stalker character Martha from the Netflix phenomenon Baby Reindeer.

Reacting to the photo selection in the comments section, Pennant joked: “Naaah, this is not right.”
The outing comes shortly after Jenas publicly apologized to his wife Ellie Penfold following his sexting scandal as she celebrated the start of a new business.
In November, Ellie appeared at a London venue for the launch of her new business, Preppy Skin, a personal care brand aimed exclusively at under-16s, and Jermaine took to Instagram to congratulate her.
But there was responsibility in his effusive post, as he praised his wife for managing to launch her business despite the ‘nonsense he dragged her through.’
He wrote: ‘I couldn’t be more proud of this woman, 3 years ago you had a great idea and this week you were able to make it a reality.

Jermaine recently revealed that his wife, Ellie, with whom he shares three young children, was “absolutely furious” after finding out about the messages and had kicked him out of the bedroom they share in their £1million family home.
He confessed to lying to her during a family holiday when she snuck out to have a Zoom call with BBC bosses over his inappropriate messages.
She has remained largely silent on social media about the situation, but appeared in public on Tuesday without her wedding ring, sparking speculation about the status of the couple’s 13-year marriage.
Addressing the scandal, Ellie admitted the past few months had been “incredibly difficult” for her and her family.
He added that his “sole focus has been on our children” and that he was looking forward to “moving forward” by starting his new business.
Ellie said the sun at the Battersea launch event on Tuesday: “Naturally this has been difficult for me but my only concern has been our children and that won’t change.”

The Beeb sacked him after women complained about his workplace behavior and a younger member of staff, said to have previously been impressed by the star, raised concerns about alleged flirtatious text messages.
