Shedding more light on Renner’s recovery process, Vincent revealed that the actor managed to keep his spirits up with the help of some laughter.
“He uses humor to stay positive and stay healthy,” he said. “This helps a lot.”
Vincent has since converted Renner’s home “into a full rehabilitation centre”, which includes a treadmill that was instrumental in teaching Renner how to walk again.
“We can get him to exercise at 20 percent of his body weight,” he explained, adding that the actor was “totally weightless” after the accident. “He had fractures on each limb,” he explained.
While Vincent says he still has a lot of recovery ahead of him, he’s optimistic the actor will make a full recovery. “I 100 percent think it’s going to be better than it was before,” he said.

The Oscar-nominated star described the mechanics of the snow plow accident, noting how lucky he was that important parts of his anatomy were spared as he was caught under the weight of the machine.
“It’s like a giant metal – like a cookie roller, isn’t it?” He said. It missed all the vertebrae, didn’t hit any organs, didn’t bulge the membrane – my eyes popped out, which is weird. But I was very lucky that none of the members were spoiled.
Renner was recently seen outing to Six Flags with his daughter, as he kept a scooter for commuting nearby.
“It’s spring break, and my daughter just turned 10, and she’s got my niece and nephews and all her cousins, and I had to treat them to a good time and to a roller coaster,” Renner told Kimmel of the trip, noting that he’s gone on rides on a picnic.
“I just live by the principle if it hurts I will stop,” he said. “But if it didn’t hurt, I’d try. So I did everything I didn’t and had a great time — and most importantly, my daughter and all the kids did.
