Jeremy Renner continues to stride forward towards a full recovery after his New Year’s accident that nearly cost him his life.
On Saturday, about five and a half months into his recovery from more than 30 broken bones, the Hollywood frontman took to his Instagram page and gave his 20.8 million fans and followers an update on his rehabilitation.
But not before revealing he was able to enjoy some quality family time with his 10-year-old daughter, Ava, whom he co-parented with ex-wife Sonni Pacheco, on an afternoon of golf together.
“Glorious day for a date with daddy’s girl,” he captioned the photo of Ava taking a shot on the green, just yards from the hole.
Her only child can be seen from the back wearing denim shorts and a gray t-shirt and white trainers moments before trying to sink the ball into the holeshot.

Turns out the Hurt Locker star’s day with her daughter wasn’t all play and no work.
In his next post on his Instagram Stories, Renner revealed that he and Ava “also did PT exercises together!!”
He then shared some videos of himself working on various devices which are part of his rehabilitation after his frightening accident.
One of the machines gave the impression that he was dancing, which he quickly let his fans and followers know was not.
“I’m not dancing, I promise,” he wrote at the bottom of the clip, adding, “High intensity vibration machine.”
It appears Ava also helped film the social media clips which included a look at him doing squats with weights.
‘[I’m] just acting like my leg ain’t broke,’ he joked in the caption of the clip showing him squatting while holding the little weight in his hand.
Compared to his shaky walk shortly after the accident, the Modesto, Calif. native appears to have improved significantly, given how stable his balance is.

Just hours after ringing in the new year 2023, Renner’s chest was crushed and his upper torso collapsed when he was pulled under a seven-ton snowplow near his Lake Tahoe property.
He had been trying to pull his nephew’s vehicle out of the snow in his driveway when the horrific incident happened.
Renner was heard in agony during a 911 call following the crash, which resulted in him being airlifted to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, where he was initially listed in “critical condition. but steady”.
He ended up suffering nearly three dozen broken bones, not to mention cuts, scrapes, and bruises.
Once he was stable and had a few days of recovery behind him, the Avengers star began sharing updates on his condition and rehabilitation via social media, including a January 21 post on showing in physiotherapy for his legs.
“Morning workouts, resolutions all changed this particular new year…. Born out of tragedy for my entire family and quickly focused on uniting actionable love,’ the star began.

Monumental: In mid-April, Renner improved enough to walk hand-in-hand with Ava at the premiere of his Disney+ miniseries Rennervations, which is about helping charities by rebuilding vehicles downgraded for new uses.

Eventually, in mid-April, Renner improved enough to walk hand-in-hand with Ava at the premiere of his Disney+ miniseries Rennervations, which is about helping charities by rebuilding vehicles. downgraded for new uses.
He also appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier in the week, which started with the actor doing a little dance with his cane as he made his way to his chair for the interview.
And just weeks ago, Renner visited medical staff who he says “saved his life” after he was crushed by that 14,000-pound snowplow on New Year’s Day.
The actor spent a few hours thanking people for Renowned regional medical center in Reno, Nevada, which sits near his lavish Lake Tahoe mansion.
