“Basically, you hemorrhage, you know, your uterus falls out. I’m sorry, but that’s how it is.”

McCarthy said she began crossing her legs “tighter” because she was “wearing a damn dress” and could feel the blood running down her legs during the interview.

The Scream 3 actress ended the interview early and stayed on stage while everyone else stood up, trying to call a crew member.

“Someone came up to me and I explained it to them, and they said, ‘Everything’s going to be OK. Just get up and run,'” she said.

McCarthy recalled telling them: “You don’t understand perimenopausal periods. This is going to be a disaster. You have to push me with the couch!”

She said everyone could see the blood on her dress as she ran backstage. “Everyone was horrified,” she added.

McCarthy briefly served as co-host of The View from 2013 to 2014, when ABC reportedly… chose not to renew his contract.

“It’s obvious from being part of the table that they want more conflict and debate,” he said in 2014.

“There’s no way you can have five Democrats sitting at the table,” McCarthy added. “It was mutual. I can’t be a part of this and they agreed. They want a tough, right-wing guy there.”

McCarthy explained: “It’s not weird because it wasn’t like, ‘You’re fired, get out,’ it was very peaceful, there was no reason for either of them to end it abruptly. For me it was wonderful, I look at it like a college course I took with Barbara Walters.”

Later that year, she began hosting SiriusXM’s The Jenny McCarthy Show (then titled Dirty, Sexy, Funny with Jenny McCarthy).

Since 2019, McCarthy has served as a panelist on Fox’s The Masked Singer.
