Jennifer Lopez released an expanded edit of her Rebound music video on Wednesday. It depicts dramatic scenes of domestic violence, inspired by her past romance.

The song is from the 54-year-old artist’s elaborate This Is Me… Now project, which consists of three parts.

Rebound, a mix of R&B and pop, was co-written and produced by López, Rogét Chahayed and Jeff ‘Gitty’ Gitelman.

In the video, Jennifer puts on faded jeans and a white T-shirt while dealing with an unhealthy relationship.

Her honey blonde locks are long and tousled, with shaggy bangs framing her face, which is then peppered with bleeding cuts.

It comes after JLo recently said Eastern Time that This Is Me… Now could be his last musical work.

‘The truth is that I don’t even know if I will ever make another album after this one.

“It’s the quintessential Jennifer Lopez/J.Lo kind of project and I really feel very accomplished, so they really will be collector’s items at some point,” she explained.

Then he joked: “Don’t tell Benny [Medina] “That’s what I’m thinking: this could be my last album,” referencing his beloved longtime manager.

The pop star is said to be “delighted” by how well her new release, which is streaming exclusively on Prime Video, is doing.

The visualizer was directed by Dave Meyers and is inspired by the New York native’s past abusive relationships.

According to ET, it was Lopez’s husband, Ben Affleck, who was inspired by her to transmute her pain into art.

“She’s delighted that both the album and the movie are doing so well,” a source told DailyMail.com. ‘I had a feeling that her fans would react positively to This Is Me… Now because it’s so personal. It is her vision and a sign of her creative freedom.’

Some of their new songs that have started to appear on the charts, in addition to Rebound, include This Me… Now, Not. Going. Anywhere and I can’t get enough.

Her documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told will be released on February 27.

The source also told DailyMail.com that Jennifer feels fabulous because she can create what she wants on her terms.

“Throughout her career, she’s been criticized for a lot of her career or needing to stay within a certain box, and she hasn’t really been allowed creative freedom, which is why this project was so incredibly important to her.” said the friend.

“It may take a little time for people to understand his vision because it has never been done before, but the documentary will explain even more,” it was added.

This Is Me… Now is her fourth #1 streaming movie, followed by Marry Me (on Peacock), Shotgun Wedding (on Amazon Prime), and The Mother (on Netflix).

In the clip, a couple performs choreographed sequences that combine dance and destruction.

The video, which was filmed in Jennifer’s home studio, alternates between passion and torment.

The one-hour musical film received a high rating on Rotten Tomatoes, as well as a positive reaction from fans.

The self-funded project garnered 81% Tomatometer votes and a 91% fan reaction upon its release on Friday.

The company, which cost $16 million to make, was inspired by Jennifer’s rekindled romance with her husband Ben.

It is a follow-up to his 2003 album This Is Me… Then, also a tribute to Affleck.
