Jennifer Lopez’s nickname was inspired by Heavy D.

The hitmaker from On The Floor has revealed how her infamous nickname J.Lo was phrased by the late rapper, and after she decided to name her second album J.Lo, it really ‘stuck’ and stuck with it throughout her career.

Jennifer also talks about her career. She said she is incredibly passionate about her job and insists it never feels like a job to her.

She added: ‘I love what I’m doing. I am passionate about it. Every day doesn’t seem like a job to me.

‘I can honestly say that I am living a dream, and I am grateful every day that I wake up. I have tireless energy for what I do. I have a great team that helps me both personally and professionally. I really believe that the most important thing is to have great people around you. ‘

Jennifer also has a brilliant career in Hollywood and she now ‘trusts’ herself more with it.

Speaking to InStyle Magazine for their May 2021 issue, she said, “ I’ve had the same approach to acting and the same teacher, Aaron Speiser, since I first started in my 20s.

‘We go through the script together, talk about who the character is and look at the effects of what they experience.

“I have gained confidence in the process and I trust myself more,” she said.

And Jennifer added that when she started, she was so scared she would forget something or fail to deliver to the camera.

‘I do not have that [issue] now. I’ve always said that the preparation and rehearsal give me a lot of confidence when it comes time to perform, and with experience it gets even better, ” added the star who now shoots Shotgun Wedding in the Dominican Republic.

Oddly enough, her fiancé Alex Rodriguez was not mentioned in the cover story, as rumors have it that they are on the rocks, although Lopez has denied it.
