JLo is co-chair of this year’s Gala alongside Vogue’s Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth and Anna Wintour.
The theme of this year’s Costume Institute exhibition is “Sleeping Beauties: Fashion’s Awakening,” inspired by a short story by JG Ballard.
The dress code is “The Garden of Time” and Wintour has said that attendees’ outfits should convey the idea of ”fleeting beauty,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Met Gala red carpet is one of the biggest pop culture events of the year.
This will be Jenny From the Block’s 14th Met Gala.
Tickets to the coveted invitation-only annual event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art cost $75,000 each and $350,000 per table.
One ticket includes the museum exhibit, cocktails, dinner, and bragging rights for having attended the most exclusive event of the year.
Everyone in attendance walks the red carpet, but only celebrities and notable people catch the attention of the paparazzi.
