Jennifer Lopez has reportedly been left ‘furious and humiliated’ by her split from husband Ben Affleck, ahead of an impending divorce filing.
The singer, 55, has been making headlines alongside her actor husband, 51, with the two being embroiled in divorce rumours after DailyMail.com exclusively revealed that paperwork had been “finalised but not yet served”.
Now, sources have said Page six that Ben has put off filing for divorce in an attempt to “protect” Jennifer, after it was reported that the couple are no longer speaking.
A source close to the couple said: “He humiliated her because she made a fuss about him being the love of her life. Just two years ago they were married twice. This is some kind of record, they are not small children.”
Jennifer is also believed to be upset about the marital split as their respective children are involved.

The source went on to say that Ben had put off immediately filing for divorce in an attempt to “protect” Jennifer.

The news came after Ben spent a whopping $20.5 million on a new bachelor pad-style mansion in Pacific Palisades on July 24, the day his wife celebrated her birthday.
And according to Jennifer’s friends, the purchase left her furious and felt like a “stab in the heart.”
Ben’s lavish purchase came days after the couple listed their Beverly Hills mansion for $68 million.
And July 24 also marked the day the singer finalized the sale of her four-bedroom New York City penthouse for $23 million. People reported.
“They finalized their divorce papers with her a month ago, but are waiting for the right time to serve them,” said a source close to the duo.
